I am very disappointed with this facility ! We have a unique situation I’ve been trying to help a family friend who has had multiple stokes this year to get into this facility! She was homeless before these strokes and no family that can take care of her. The facility was extremely helpful and Communicative at first with the process of what I needed to do to get the documents they needed and to get her social security payments back on, since she is unable to speak and due this her self . But as soon as we got everything fixed and all paperwork needed now they will not respond back at all to myself or the hospital! While the patient has been sitting at the hospital waiting for this room for almost two months because she has no where else to go and is on a permanent feeding tube ! You think they could at least return my calls and have a conversation with me about they cant take her anymore or they don’t want to ! I understand she isn’t the idea patient but what is she to do when she has no one and can’t fend for herself ***Update we got back intouch with them and they being responsive and helpful ! Everything has been made right I’m upgrading them to 4 stars

Mom suffered a fall and spent some time here for rehab. While I have never cared for this type of facility, the folks working there made all the difference. A few bumps here and there but all in all, a great experience. Mom is stronger and understands she has to keep working and eating well to remain well. Out social worker share valuable information moving forward and her assistance alone has been very appreciated. Thank you for treating my mother like family and the little things along the way. Update March 3, 2026: Had to take my Mother to Tanner hospital due to labored breathing, wheezing, coughing and extreme pain. A CT scan was done to confirm she has a fractured/broken sternum/breastbone due to the CNA on duty during our discharge who very roughly snatched my Mother up into our van and slammed her into the seat when 2 other CNA were standing right there for assistance. She now has a very long recovery ahead of her on top of Parkinson's back pain and other health issues. ** Had my Mother here for PT & OT rehab recently. Insurance paid for 7 days and she only received 2 days of rehab due to facility schedule and my Mothers chronic back pain. Nobody informed us prior to arrival that the facility is full of flu, covid, pneumonia, various sickness and my Mother contracted pneumonia 3 days after being there. I had to discharge her for medical treatment due to the horrible cough, wheezing. Upon leaving, a CNA snatched my Mother up into our van without any other assistance when 2 others were standing right there to help. Extremely rough with my 83 year old Mother. This caused rib & chest bruising which makes it hard for her to breathe when she was already battling pneumonia. She is still in major pain because of this while already dealing with chronic back pain from Parkinson's. Facility is extremely old, outdated including the hospital beds and smells of poop constantly. Rehab lady couldn't even find squeeze balls or puddy for my Mothers OT therapy for her hand strength. I also contracted bronchitis after being at this facility with my Mother. The only positive I can give is the staff is friendly , attentive to changing, patient needs. Otherwise, I do not recommend this facility based on out experience.

You hear horror stories about nursing homes and it makes you apprehensive to put your loved ones in one. This facility is the exception to that rule. My mother was taken very good care of here. It is clean. The staff is great from the administrators all the way down to the kitchen help and everyone I met in-between. Patients are treated with dignity and love, more like family than patients. My mother has dementia and Alzheimer's and can be a handful at times, but the staff was always very patient and caring with her. They helped her with her physical therapy after hip replacement. When I took her to the Dr post OP towards the end of her 20 day stay, he was very impressed with the progress she had made. I attribute that progress to the staff at Pruitthealth. Great job guys! If you're looking for a place for physical therapy or long term care I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pruitthealth in Franklin.
