I am so pleased with Family Private Care! They assembled a fantastic team for my father who had a stroke in 2023. He needs 24-hour care and Family Private Care has never missed a shift and always accommodates special requests. The management is super responsive and proactive. This was an easy 5-star review.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Private Home Care is and how much they did for my father in the last 2 years of his life. None of us lived close to him, so we could not be there regularly, but he needed help and support after my mother passed (even though he was convinced he did not). We had hired a home care service to come in and help with my father after my mother died and were very disappointed. They were unreliable and did not meet my father's needs, which at the time were not that demanding. We made calls and asked for suggestions but felt we were getting nowhere and were at our wits end. After searching the internet, we found the PHC website and gave them a call. Right off the bat, we knew that we had found the right source for our father's care. From the start, they treated my father with respect, warmth, and genuine caring, and were utterly reliable. As my dad's health declined and his needs increased, they went above and beyond to meet them, while maintaining his dignity, safety, and emotional well being, right up until the end. Jesse, who oversaw his care, was there any time of the day or night to help with the many issues and urgent needs that arose. She alerted us about many things (such as a visiting nurse making mistakes with his dressings, and neglecting to order supplies he needed) that may have gone unnoticed and could have compromised his well being. Jesse would drop anything and rush to his side if there was an emergency (and there were more than a few over the last two years of his life). Everyone who cared for him was lovely, competent, and deeply caring. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Jesse and everyone who was involved with my dad's care. I feel eternally grateful that we found PHC and that they were there for all of us. Thanks to their help, my father never had to go to a nursing home or even a hospice facility; he was able to die peacefully in his home, with them by his side. When he started to slip away and none of us could get their in time, they held his hand tightly for hours until his last breath, reassuring him that his family was with him. They were a tremendous source of emotional support to us. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.
