I am writing this review on behalf of my 93-year-old mother to share our deep appreciation for everyone at Presentation Rehab. From the beginning and still, she is treated with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Going to rehab at her age was intimidating, but the staff quickly made her feel safe, respected, and truly cared for. The nurses, aides, and therapists take the time to listen to her and support her, and over time they felt like an extension of our family. The therapists encourage her gently while being mindful of her limitations, helping her regain strength and confidence. Knowing my mother is in such caring hands gives our family great peace of mind. We are truly grateful for the exceptional care she is receiving and would wholeheartedly recommend Presentation Rehab to any family seeking compassionate rehabilitation for a loved one.

I came to this facility after a broken femur incident and I had no one to help with physical therapy at home. The staff there was INSANELY nice and extremely thorough. I feel they helped me learn to walk again on a broken hip. Since I am not their target demographic (it is basically a nursing home and I’m in my mid-40s), I wasn’t able to utilize the complete benefit of the facility. However, I could see the care given to everyone around me. Every CNA and nurse truly tried to accommodate and help everybody on site. If I ever had a parent or guardian that needed help being placed in long term care, I would recommend Presentation. Especially if they were Haitian-Creole since 98% of the staff are immigrants from that country. There is a doctor on site two to three times a week and nurses check in on you every hour or so. They offer games and activities to keep the elderly mobile. Their physical therapy facility also offers mock kitchens and mock bedrooms to help you become acclimated back to home life (if this is your goal). The staff will help your loved one bathe, use the restroom and eat (if they are unable). They serve 3 unique meals daily and offer coffee, ginger ale, and juice. If your loved one has dietary restrictions, they will adhere to it. (A nurse comes by every morning to check glucose levels before each meal.) The facility is very clean and understanding. It is built out of an old Sheraton Hotel so you can see the furniture will resemble the hospitality industry. It isn’t a hotel, obviously, but you can understand the bones at the facility because of that. The nurses I encountered: AnneMarie, Willie, Betty, Sharon and Emma (Physical therapist) went above to help me. Top notch hospital care! I truly feel that I would not be able to become the person I am without them. My time was short here, but like I said: I would recommend them to others. It cannot be easy when it comes to admitting your caregiving skills cannot be processed alone. They allow 24/7 visitors and are transparent with everything. You will safe leaving them in these nurses’ hands.

Our experience with this hospice care was honestly heartbreaking. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, when we were scared and trying to do right by our loved one, we expected compassion and support. Instead, we were met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and almost no real communication. Whenever we had questions—questions any family would have during end-of-life care—we were made to feel like we were bothering them. Staff would get defensive or brush us off with comments like, “I don’t know, I just got here,” or “Who are you?” And when we pushed for answers, they would suddenly throw HIPAA at us—not to protect privacy, but in a way that felt like they were just trying to shut us up. It genuinely felt like no one wanted to take the time to help us understand what was happening. We were already hurting, and their lack of care made everything so much harder. Hospice should make families feel supported and informed—sadly, that wasn’t our experience at all.

I have to give Presentation Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center a lot of props! This is the story of my sister who was in a longterm care facility in CT that wasn't equipped to care for her and her nearly dying as a result of that. My brother and I quickly found Presentation with the help of a care specialist here in MA. The day we met her at Presentation, I asked the nurse in charge of her care if we were to expect hospice or palliative care due to her poor state of health and what we had been told in CT. The nurse looked at me and said, matter of factly, no, we're going to get her better. And they have. That day is now over 3 years ago. The bed sore that almost killed her is healed (it will never completely close). Whenever she has an issue, I have someone I can talk to to help her solve the issue. Most recently, the administrator and patient care coordinator helped find a shower chair that my very picky sister actually agreed to use. This is no mean feat as she can be very demanding when she is feeling well. And she is feeling very well :-) With that behind us, they have made accommodations for her to have a shower this Friday so that she will feel "presentable" to come to our house for Christmas Eve. We have not been able to have Christmas together with her for the last 7 years. This is one of the best Christmas presents I've ever received. As well as the care is, the physical presentation of Presentation is very nice. The grounds are well maintained, the inside of the facility never smells terrible like most other facilities I've visited. Our family is very grateful to have found Presentation and for the remarkable care they have given and are giving out sister.
