I cannot give Preferred Care at Home a better recommendation. Unfortunately my cousin who is widowed and lives alone has advanced Parkinson’s Disease.This is very debilitating! Recently she was started on an infusion of her PD medication. This was instead of taking pills 6 times per day. I came down to help since Medicare doesn’t cover this home nursing care. Before I left I realized that she needed more help. I called Preferred Care at Home of Sarasota and Amy, the owner, came to see us within hours. She then had her RN Misty at the house the very next morning. They were both very professional, kind and helpful. We started with Certified Nursing Assistant care the next working day. She helped with medications, diet and light housekeeping. Since then my cousin has improved and this team has been a “Godsend” for her. Thank you, Amy, Misty and Lisa.

A couple weeks ago Makayla Orr helped take care of one of my family members and she was an excellent nurse! I would recommend her to everyone! She is friendly, kind, and patient. She answered all the questions in a simple easy to understand manner! 10/10

I wanted to commend Ann Lammers, OTR & Heather, PT , in Sarasota, for their commitment to my mother-in-law's (Jackie) Rehab care. They were prompt to respond to our texts, even during Memorial Day weekend. Heather had a long phone conversation with us and Ann expended a lot of energy and time trying to convince this patient of better & safe practices. We are so grateful for their consideration, persistence and care, in trying to help a very reluctant client. They assisted above & beyond of our expectations.
