We love it here. It feels like home. The food is wonderful because there are so many choices. The staff is warm and friendly and the management always asks us how we are. They care and have open doors to any concerns. Mary Ann gave us our tour and that is what influenced us to come. I view her as a true friend. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to long term care. She is right there to assist in any development and problem. What a relief to know we will be taken care of for our remaining years. The head executive works overtime to insure things are run smoothly. She will serve food and drinks during family night, drives the bus and van when the driver is out for vacation. She is open to us at all times to answer questions. The dining staff are attentive and so patient and help with our eating experience.Laz the maintenance head does great work. Hr installed new flooring in our kitchen that is wonderful. All repairs are done promptly and with expert care

A prime reason that I chose American House for my spouse after 3 exploratory visits to American House is Carolyn Shrimplin. I'm unaware of her official title or position, but she acts as the primary entertainer for the residents in memory care. She is the most caring, warm, and engaging person one could ask for in dealing with the residents. She is an absolute joy and it's clear that she loves what she's doing.<br>Joining the memory care team after my spouse was admitted is Chelsea Jaterka. I'm unsure of her official title except to say she's in a supervisory position and conducts herself in a most friendly and professional matter. Chelsea is an effective communicator, exhibits a calm and confident demeanor, answers all my questions, and has helped me resolve issues on a number of occasions. These two ladies are true assets representing the memory care team at American House Sarasota!

I can't say enough about Markia. Markia is a terrific waitress. Impressive, professional. She has a delightful personality, always smiles, is very accommodating, and always gets the orders correct.
