The place smells like a Sanolet. My granddaughter got a migraine from the smell. Rude staff. The person wouldn't let us see him in their lunchroom. We were ordered to sit in the wreck room until he finished eating. The girl didn't even want us to see him and my husband begged her since we came there from Westminster. My cousin fell backwards on the stairs. He has been in the hospital from it about a week. He is slightly memory impaired and should have been watched. He lost so much weight at this facility that he felt like skin hanging on a skeleton. We last saw him estimated 6 months ago at The Bridge and he looked great there. I gave this facility a 1 so I could send this message.

I put one star just so it would post, but they don't deserve it. This place really sucks. If you want a decent life, proper medical care, and decent housing, don't go there.

My mom has lived here for almost 3 years now. The staff has been absolutely wonderful to her. They work hard and I'm sure they don't get paid enough. Mom gets her meds, food, laundry and room kept clean. I feel comfortable with mom living there.The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars is the food and no activity.

Almost two years ago, I moved out of a really bad group home to this nice facility, and I still think this place is awesome. You're allowed your own private bedroom with a bathroom attached, and they allow you to have your own food in your room. The last place I was living in said it was a state law to not let you have food in your rooms. I love how big Point of The Pine's rooms are compared to BethHaven's tiny closets. The staff are all friendly and have our best interests at heart. The QMAPS's help me keep track of when I am supposed to take my medications because I have a horrible time remembering to take them when I alone or busy. The food tastes great, and they have really good snack options. Most of the residents respect other resident's privacy who aren't very social or who want to be left alone. This place has been a big step up from the group home I was in before. They also provide transportation to and from your appointments, which is very helpful because I don't drive. They don't have those superfluous rules like BethHaven did, such as "no standing in the hallway, it's a walkway" rule; you're allowed to stand in any of the halls you would like to without someone reprimanding you. The PCP's and QMAP's are friendly, as well as the administrators who run the facility. You still have your freedom to go where you please, like a group home has. They also don't have the rule for how many days you can be gone during a year, which is also nice as well. If you want excellent care, helpful and friendly staff who care about you, try out Point of the Pines Gardens. (◕‿◕✿)

An average overpriced assisted living facility in Colorado Springs. The amenities are nice but the administrative management leave a lot to be desired. Ms. Roda Rosenbach, Administrator, wasted a lot of my time with her procrastination in processing my paperwork in order to allow me to take occupancy in a timely manner. She always explained that "something had come up" which she offered as an excuse. Finally, I simply withdrew my application and made arrangements to take up residency elsewhere. In my opinion, should you be interested in locating a decent Assisted Living facility, you should look somewhere other than Point Of The Pines Gardens.
