This place needs to be shut down. Ran down, rooms are gross and it smells. Needs a revamp and more staff.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this facility and the staff. Residents appear to be in good spirits and well cared for. Staff are friendly and always willing to answer my questions. I encourage all my friends/family to choose Plymouth Health as their long term or rehab stay destination. If you can look past the old and outdated building, you will see the true family atmosphere and individuals that are just doing their best with what they have to work with. I enjoy seeing all of the facebook posts too, the Easter bunny and butterflies in 1 week, how awesome!!!

My dad has been in several facilities and we only put him here because no other place was available for short term rehab. We ended up moving him to Rocky Knoll as soon as we could. Some of the staff were decent, but the majority of them look dead inside and won’t even say hi back. If they treat me like that, how are they treating the residents? The place is outdated by decades, it’s grungy and depressing. The rooms don’t even provide phones and I was told to call the one and only phone # they have to talk to my dad. When I did, it would either ring with nobody picking up or the person who answered (Sarah) would tell me that there was no way I could talk to my dad. My mom had the same experience and Sarah even told her that my dad was in therapy & this happened on a Sunday, when they have NO therapy. I tried to get updates on how he was doing with no calls back and the social worker lied to me- we had arrangements to move him to Rocky Knoll and the social worker there had told her they had transportation ready for that day for whenever he would be ready. The social worker at PHS told me they’d have to keep him several more days because Rocky Knoll didn’t have transportation. Do not put your loved one in this place. You will regret it.

Very sad to hear about the care a dear friend of mine is getting! Her care is nothing short of neglect! Shame on the facility that allows staff to mistreat their residents!

Plymouth Health Services is very resident oriented. We work as a team to provide for the health, safety and well-being of our residents. Our residents are not just residents; they are a part of our family!
