This place is great! The team is extremely passionate and loyal to each other and their residents. Whitney the administrator takes pride in how this home looks and runs, that is obvious from the minute you walk in. Mason the maintenance director is as smart and hard-working as they come. When a team goes out of their way to help other facilities in need, that is a testament to how much they care for their own residents. Selfless. Happy caregivers equal happy homes. I just spent an hours with my light on because I did not receive my lunch. I had to go down to the nurses station with no O2(no one was there) to use the microwave to get some hot water to make some soup, this is not the first time this has happened. They either need more staff or better staff and better scheduling to make sure that people are taken care of in a timely manner.

My grandmother has been placed at Pittsburg Care and Rehab twice in the last year. When she unfortunately had to be placed back in a facility for long-term care, Pittsburg was helpful in welcoming her back and caring for her complex physical/mental/cognitive health needs. As a grandchild taking on a guardian role, there is a lot to learn and manage and take care of. This facility has been helpful, supportive, and patient as I navigate this new role. My grandmother is taken care of, says the staff treat her well, and is in good hands at Pittsburg.

This place was extremely helpful in getting my great-aunt a caring place to live while she was "Medicaid pending." Whitney, the admin, met her there when we first arrived in the evening and within weeks, through her being in touch with KDHE and putting in the hard work, we were Medicaid approved. More than that, my great-aunt likes it there. She is able to be more social than she was living alone, they do special things like going to see the lights at Christmas around town, and each resident got a gift from the staff at Christmas! The staff and nurses give her the TLC that she needs and deserves. Our family has been happy with all aspects of Pitt Care and Rehab and are very grateful for this place being there for us.

I Really do Love This Place and the Staff that works Here. There is still some improvement that needs attention. The Staff Sure does do their Best that they can do even when some staff calls in the Staff Sure Does Try their Best that Do Show I Do get the Care that I need and Therapy Staff are Great at What They Do Too. I Would Recommend anyone to Come Here for Their Health Issues and Therapy that they need . All The Staff Here Are Friendly And Treat You Like Family Here. They just don't Treat You Like An unwanted human being either.
