Had to do a delivery, the woman behind the counter was incredibly condescending and rude. Don't know how they are beyond this but it was a frustrating situation all around.

Staff at this facility are extremely caring, trustworthy, well-trained and attentive to those who live there. My family member is well cared for, and that brings peace of mind.

I was the administrator of this facility in the early 2000s, but I discovered that Skilled Nursing Administration is not for sissies, so I went back to teaching. When the time came for my parents to need skilled nursing care I chose them not once or twice, but three times. The first time I called Amy for help, my mother needed hip rehabilitation, but my father stayed with me. When mom again was hospitalized due to fracture, dad needed more care, so they found him a room on the Assisted living side where he would visit her daily. After mom was ready to release from the second rehab, dad was comfortable living at the Villas, so we spoke for a couple's suite where they would live until they both required more care and we moved them back down to skilled care. Without looking up the dates to be sure, they were residents at Medicalodge and the Villas for a total of about three years. I am writing this review to let others know that this is a good facility. Was every detail and every event with them perfect? No. I had to speak to the staff on a few occasions regarding concerns with one of the other parent. Our experience was not flawless at Medicalodges, because the caregivers there became like family to us. I have yet to find a family that doesn't have some issues from time to time, especially when caring for complex medical issues. Communication is so important in any family crisis and it's absolutely essential in the long term care setting. I could not have survived my parent's decline without the staff there. Mom and dad both took their last breath at Medicalodge (three weeks to the day apart) and I was present both times. At the end, I would spend the last 36 hours with the staff there as mom passed and five days and nights with dad as he did. I saw first hand the care they got around the clock and I saw how much they were loved there. I saw how much they grew to love the caregivers too. And trust me, my parents were often a handful! It's been a few years since our family needed this facility, but I know that the leadership is still the same and they want to provide good care for your family members. Amy will do everything she can to make life better for those we trust in her care. I should have posted this review long ago.

They have owed me payment for over a month and a half now. Every time I call there's a problem I've done them for years they say I'm not even a vendor. What's up with that ! the residents love what I do and I've done them for years entertaining a guest there residence. And they didn't have any tax ID on me, don't know what happened to all that personal tax informatio I gave them. Yet I called again today and again & again the check is in the mail still. If they don't pay their bills what does that say. And I usually volunteered time to stay after to make sure everybody was happy. I really should put an interest charge on this WAY WAY late payment.
