Peninsula has improved tremendously since the last time I visited my mother was here a year and a half ago. We have been here three times in 4 years, and this is the nicest it has been. The facility and rooms are much cleaner and well-maintained. Mary at the front desk continues to be amazing! Although the staff often appear busy, they remain friendly and attentive. I was especially impressed to see both the Executive Director and Nursing Director actively answering call lights and engaging with residents—I never witnessed that level of involvement during previous stays. Paul from Activities is my mother’s favorite, and it’s easy to see why. He is the life of any party and his smile lights up any room. The rehab team is terrific, and Unit Manager Stephanie consistently communicates with me and follows up promptly.

I can’t say enough good things about this rehab center. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated—they go above and beyond to make sure every individual feels supported throughout their recovery journey. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a safe and positive environment for healing. I especially appreciated how personalized the care felt—it never seemed like a one-size-fits-all approach.

My mom has been at Peninsula for a year now and during that time she has increased her mobility, gained more strength and has made friends. The nurses love to hear her sing and see her smile and they care for her like she was their family member. The nurses, LPN's and CNA's have a difficult job and are not always treated so nicely by the residents and the families. I know what it is like to take care of my mom because I did it. I am very thankful for this facility and the staff that now have become my mother's caretakers. Kamini, Delores, Deborah, Nicole, Sori, Soriah, Vincent, Victor, Sara, Sharon, Charlotte, and Tammy are some of the beautiful people that take care of my mom. And I can sleep at night knowing she is in good hands. Thank you Peninsula House for taking care of Clare so well.

My mom was placed here for rehab. Overall, great experience especially with therapy. Therapy Director kept us updated weekly with mom’s progress and clearly communicated their expectations which we appreciated very much. The therapists were very supportive and knowledgeable, and most importantly, compassionate. Definitely the best rehab team in the area!
