I’ve had a great experience with this facility. The staff is caring, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the residents. The building is clean, welcoming, and there’s a real sense of teamwork and respect. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality long-term care or rehabilitation for a loved one.

My mom died here. The reports from the state of Illinois are shock ingly disturbing. Sexual Assault?;theft? Physical abuse?!How can this happen?! It doesn't even seem possible. All you have to do is keep an eye on people??!! Sexual assault of an unconscious elderly person is abhorrent. How can Illinois keep these institutions running??!!!!; Please don't leave your loved one here. Demand change. Money isn't everything. My mom should have been at Holmstad. That's her culture.

Very nice facility. The staff is kind and involved and many of the residents have become good acquaintances. I wish they’d change the kitchen staff, though. The food initially was very good. Right now, it isn’t healthy or tasty.

The people are great and the staff is wonderful and good at what they do. The building is just in need of some serious upgrades. The location seems a bit outdated and lacks some modern comforts and conveniences. But the people who works there makes the best of and with what they are given to work with, they make you feel like family when visiting loved ones who are trusted in they're care.
