I cannot say enough great things about Alie and her team. The moment Alie sat down with my very hesitant mom, her shoulders relaxed and her anxiety eased. Alie made her feel seen and got to know her on a personal level. We talked about her needs and goals and how to go about achieving them. Alie understood that a lot of what my mom needed after her stroke was a champion that could understand her cognitive impairments and could not only be a caregiver but a friend. Alie and Kaylee teamed my mom up with Marian who has been wonderful to her. On top of wanting Marian to be with my mom on a regular basis; we also needed assistance when we go out of town. Someone to check in with my mom in both the mornings and to make sure she got to bed safely. While Marian typically works with my mom on M,W,F, she knew for continuity of care how important it was that she was the face my mom saw in the mornings and evenings while we were out of town. Marian stepped up and took over shifts she wouldn’t normally handle just to make my mom comfortable. She has been thrown some curveballs by my mom and has always handled them professionally and made sure my mom felt heard. She has given space when needed but also was able to rebound easily and go back into their routine. We have been beyond happy with the care Amada has been able to provide and would recommend Alie and her team whole heartedly to anyone looking for caregiving for a family member or friend. They have been so incredibly easy to work with….have been flexible and truly understand the psychological complexity of a patient giving up a small part of their independence when a caregiver is required. Thank you Alie. You and your team have done so much to calm MY nerves with this transition.

I was recently at Jewel in Elburn and saw the sweetest, most attentive young woman helping an elderly woman doing her shopping. She helped her along, explained things patiently to the woman who had hearing difficulty and handled all of the items for her. She did all of this with a smile and really seemed to enjoy her job. I saw her open the door and help the woman into the passenger side of the car and then proceed to load up all of the groceries into the car, all the while still smiling. I stopped her and asked her name and where she worked. If the need arises in my family, I will choose Amada Senior Care and I will request Ebony. It made my heart happy to see such a compassionate and caring young woman. Amada is lucky to have Ebony!

For many years I have been a caregiver for family and friends. You learn so much each day and struggle with care, insurance, and good out side help. I met with owner Alie Johnson from Amada care Geneva and was overwhelmed by her attention to details and care for her clients. Extremely professional and very well educated in today's challenges with home health care. We were presented with many in care options and home saftey improvements for senior living. We were provided with wonderful selection of caregivers and never had to worry if someone didn't show up. We were assisted with discharge and follow up care. Alie is connected with many social workers at hospitals and rehab facilities which makes the adjustments smooth for transfers. The office at Amada is friendly and easy to get ahold of and speak with the staff. Very kind and compassionate team which we continue to work with over the past year.

this We called Amada Senior Care after my mother suffered a fall in her home. We were only with Amada a few weeks before she passed. Although Mom did not want a caregiver in the home (which I learned was more common than I thought), my sister and I felt much better knowing someone was her making sure she was safe, and she didn't have to leave the home she loved so much. The caregiver that was with her understood my mother's hesitancy with the process, and gave Mom the space she needed, while being there to fix her a snack or help her get up from her favorite chair. Alie's superior knowledge in navigating her long-term insurance was blessing. After she passed, Amada even sent us sympathy card. This is truly a company that cares.

Amada Geneva has been helping our family care for my mother-in-law for several years and I would give them 6 stars if I could. They helped us sort through long term care insurance and the level of care, compassion and professionalism displayed from our caregivers as well as the office and management has been a real difference maker in my my mother-in-law's quality of life and our family's ability to care for her.
