My mother lives in these apartments. The maintenance issues are bad. She’s reported several issues upon move-in with her new apartment including the garbage disposal not working , fluorescent light out, elec plugs not working and broken towel bar. She’s been there for over a month and nothing has been addressed. The maintenance people also left 2 5 gallon cans of paint and a brush in her apartment and told her it was there for her to do touch ups. The touch ups are on the ceiling and she’s 80 years old. The maintenance man is surely and cruel and cursed at residents as well as leaves trash (such as hot water heater box) on the grounds for months. These apartments are not well made as my mother’s previous apartment suffered a lot of damage when the pipes in the attic froze. Skip this place. The only redeeming quality is that she likes her neighbors. ** update. All the requested repairs were made the Monday immediately after my post. Unfortunately the management decided to also post an EVICTION NOTICE that same afternoon, on my mother’s door. They claim she owes unpaid rent. I had to search online through the resident portal/ LOFTS to see what’s going on and it is claimed she owes $84.20 —these are from 2 charges “ VCR” of $50 and $34.20. No idea what this is for. The asst manager claims she has no idea either so I will have to talk to the manager, who of course is on vacation this week. I have a feeling they prey on old people and throw charges on their accounts that the tenants pay for fear of losing their homes. How sad is this? I have investigated all payments and am confident they are PIF.
