My mom Katina had a wonderful experience at Parker Jewish rehab center Following her hip surgery. I couldn't have asked for better nurses and staff on the third floor. They helped her so much, they were so kind to her, including the nurses the staff and the social workers. I visited practically every day and I have seen how hard they all work! They were extremely helpful. In addition, The rehab facility was very effective to get my mom to walk again following her surgery and I thank them so much for that. They went above and beyond to get her better and she is now home so I am very grateful for that. She also met wonderful friends that were staying there as well who kept her company. I want to especially think Ana the nurse on the third floor who was very patient and kind during my Mother's stay there. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom I appreciate it so much!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Parker Jewish Institute for inpatient rehabilitation and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, dignity, and respect by every member of the staff. My therapists Andy (PT) and Paljor (OT) were knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely invested in my recovery. They encouraged me every step of the way and created a treatment plan that helped me make significant progress. The 4th floor Nurses, Nurse Aides and receptionist were amazing, they provided excellent care and were always attentive, compassionate, and responsive to my needs. The facility itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a positive environment for healing and recovery. Everyone—from the physicians and therapists to the aides, housekeeping staff, and dietary team—worked together to ensure I received exceptional care. I am truly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and support I received during my stay. Thanks to their hard work and commitment, I left feeling stronger, more confident, and better prepared to return home. I highly recommend this rehabilitation facility to anyone in need of inpatient rehabilitation services.

My mother is a resident here, and what I’ve witnessed is not just poor service — it’s neglect. When she soils herself, she waits 4 hours without being cleaned. She presses the call bell. No one comes. I call the nurse’s station on 344B — no one answers. I call the family call center — sometimes no answer. I have escalated to the Directors of Nursing, who promise change and care plans. Nothing changes. This is a serious health issue, not a comfort one. When a patient sits in waste for hours, bacteria builds up and causes UTIs and infections. This happens almost daily with my mother. Management seems more focused on ratings and asking families to take down reviews than fixing the actual problems. I’ve been promised meetings, care plans, and follow-up calls. All empty words. Not every aide and nurse is bad — and I want to specifically recognize the ones who do show up with compassion: Felicia and Clawna are excellent aides, and Jelly is a wonderful nurse. They are the exception, and they deserve to be acknowledged. But their good work cannot carry an entire facility where basic dignity is routinely ignored. This is a systemic failure, not a few bad apples. PT is acceptable. Food is okay. But none of that matters when the most fundamental act of care — cleaning a person who cannot clean themselves — is routinely ignored by most of the staff. If you are considering this facility for a loved one who needs personal care assistance, please think carefully. Your calls may go unanswered. So may theirs.

My dad was at Parker for rehab for the last few months. Though other areas of care were not up to par, Physical, Occupational, and speech Therapy was excellent! Andy(PT), Paljor(OT), and Jasmine (ST) did such an amazing job working tirelessly with my dad to recover and get him home. Our family is very appreciative of their significant skill, dedication and professionalism. My dad rates these therapists as the best. A+.

My 98-year-old aunt is currently at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, and our experience has been outstanding. She was transferred there from another highly rated nursing home, and the difference in the quality of care has been remarkable—the level of attention, professionalism, and compassion at Parker is clearly superior. From the moment she arrived, we were impressed by how attentive and caring every staff member has been. The rehabilitation team is exceptional—patient, encouraging, and highly skilled—helping her make meaningful progress while treating her with dignity and respect. The nursing staff and aides consistently go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, safe, and well cared for, which gives our family tremendous peace of mind. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and welcoming, with an atmosphere that feels both professional and genuinely caring. Communication with our family has been excellent, and we always feel informed and supported. It is rare to find a facility that combines outstanding medical care, rehabilitation services, and true compassion so well. We are deeply grateful for the excellent care my aunt is receiving and highly recommend Parker Jewish Institute to any family looking for exceptional care for a loved one.
