Horrific place. My grandfather died after falling multiple times in their care and breaking his femur, one of the most difficult bones to break in your body. No one checked him, or they covered it up, and he cried in pain for TWO DAYS before being taken to the hospital. They labeled him difficult and sedated him to keep him quiet instead of helping him or trying to figure out what was wrong.

Horrific. They wheel residents through the hall naked with a only a sheet thrown on top, the sides of their bottom and thighs exposed to get to the bath, going past visitors, residents and maintenance workers of the opposite sex. NO dignity is provided. The hall smells terribly of urine and feces. You will walk past people who smell of number two and you know the staff smell it too but don’t clean that person up. It took over four hours to get Tylenol for my loved one, asking every hour, while they writhed in pain. An RN criticized my loved one’s choice of watching juvenile shows on TV, right IN FRONT of them. Always short staffed because the rich owners want more and more money in their own pockets.

The incentive is to put your loved one into hospice "care." Then, their meds are discontinued & they're pumped full of narcotics when they press the call button for help (that frequently doesn't come for hours.) If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The physicians/nurses/nursing home should loose all state licensure.
