My mother got to this facility end of April 2026. And it’s an awful place !!! Don’t put your loved ones here. The staff is rude and do not care sbout the residents. I been waiting a month to meet and speak with the administrator. No call back. I had to email the DON over and over and over with questions regarding my mother’s health and instead of calling back she called the police on me and said I was harassing her. Same with the social worker !!! No responses back regarding my mom’s health and hospital visits. The ER DR told me there is definitely a problem at this facility. I tried reaching out to discuss things per the ER dr and no response. They ignore family. They want no family involved. I requested a camera under Esther’s law. DON said she would get back with me months ago. Hopefully with the help the state something can get done. My mom tells me all the time that staff is rude to her. Scream at her and hits her. Something needs done. I am trying to move my mom but they are refusing to send referrals to other facilities when I request it. They want control and power while abusing innocent people in the process. I hope the state looks into this facility. It’s probably not just happening to my mother but other innocent residents as well. My mother has fallen over a dozen times in past month 🤔🤔🤔🤔. But why ??? Nobody will answer my concerns. Instead they claim it’s harrassment ….. when I’m trying to get legit questions answered regarding my mothers health. This facility needs looked into and I’m not the only family who sees this. And don’t call because there is zero help in homestead unit. My family been calling for a week straight up til 10 pm and no answer. The nurses said themselves that they are soooo short staffed they can’t handle the entire unit by themselves. Don’t believe me? Try calling and see if it takes you weeks to get an answer. My mother needs out of this facility asap. Especially when she keeps falling and staff isn’t wearing proper PPE gear to asssit the residents. These are serious issues. I wouldn’t put a dog in this place.

“The rehab staff here is truly the best on the planet—caring, patient, and unbelievably dedicated. Holly stands out as the absolute superstar, bringing skill, heart, and encouragement that make every step of recovery feel possible.”

My father-n-law came all the way from Florida to be with the Hennis family & that's exactly how we all felt like family. The Hennis family not only cared for him they loved him. We could feel that at our visits. So helpful any time we needed anything. Thank you so much Hennis family I wish I could give you 10 stars

Showed up visit my father who was there one month. We were shuffled out of the room so it could be disinfected. My father was out in a wheelchair and we went to the family room. After an hour we asked if the room is finished being disinfected...we were told it would be another hour. My father was very uncomfortable in the wheelchair and needed to use the restroom. Because his room was not ready he was taken to the restroom in the hallway. Because he could not stand, he was told to use the bathroom in his diaper! He was very upset and we returned to the family room. He really had to use restroom and was uncomfortable, so he asked me to go and see if the room was ready. It was not. A nurse, Amy, asked if there was something that I needed outside his room. I told her he needed to use the restroom and he was very uncomfortable...Amy was very curt with me and told me that we would have to wait until the room was ready. If we knew how long the wait was going to be we would have had expected it. Nurse Amy raised her voice to me and I asked her not to raise her voice to me. She insisted that that was her regular speaking voice. She was yelling. It was absolutely ridiculous! I asked her to lower her voice and speak to me like normal person. She continued to be very loud and disrespectful. She said she was talking loud because I was wearing a mask over my face which made no sense Another 30-40 minutes passed before his room was ready. Once we got back into the room we waited another 10-15 minutes before someone came in to put him back in the bed. I know working in a nursing home is not the most enjoyable job however I think that patients should be treated with a lot more respect. If this place was trying to impress the family, then they failed. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Needs help, not the staffs fault they are understaffed. Good employees really seem to care about the patients- well atleast most of them. We loved Most all staff. Both my parents had both good and bad to say. Dana(RN was the best!) Owners should pay more to keep good staff. One of my parents passed due to a fall and had they been properly staffed he could possibly still be with us today. Only reason I’m giving this many stars are for the ppl who are at ground zero with the patients day in and day out. They need more pay & more help.
