I had a sister who had Down Syndrome and she resided at Park Ridge Care Center since 2018 after she was diagnosed with dementia until her death in 2023 We looked at a couple other facilities and decided on Park Ridge. That was the best decision we made. She loved it there, thought she had her own apt It is a small facility which enables them to give more individualized care for these special needs adults. All the residents consider each other family as do the staff. I can’t say enough about the care Patti received, I never once saw her dirty or unkempt I would stop in at various times during the week to see her and she was always clean as was her room and all common areas. While my sister lived there I visited her a couple times a week and also became friends with the staff and residents I suggest Park Ridge Care Center to anyone with a special needs adult that needs specialized care We never considered it a nursing home, more a care center
