Park Place Assisted Living

Park Place is an assisted living and memory care community in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The state-licensed community comprises five buildings across a campus with covered porches, courtyards, walking trails, and sitting areas. Two buildings—Cedar at Park Place and Dogwood at Park Place—serve assisted living residents, while three buildings—Ash, Birch, and Elm at Park Place—are dedicated to memory care for seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, and related conditions.

Each building houses fewer than 20 residents and features its own dining room and comfortable community living areas, creating an intimate, family-like atmosphere. Assisted living residents receive personalized care that balances independence with 24/7 professional support for activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, dining, and mobility assistance. Memory care services are tailored to address each resident's unique and evolving needs through individualized care plans.

Community amenities include private apartments with shower-equipped, handicap-accessible bathrooms, a beauty salon for hair care and grooming, an activity room, and personalized common areas. Religious services and spiritual care are available to residents. The community coordinates care with outside agencies such as home health, hospice, and physical therapy services.

Park Place accepts residents with Michigan's MI Choice Medicaid Waiver and offers private consultations to assist families with financial hardships.
