I recently had hip replacement surgery at Parham Doctors' Hospital and was impressed by the facility and care I received. The nursing staff were very attentive, the private room was nice and the food options were good. The process from pre-registration and informative class to surgery and release went smoothly. I also received a follow-up call after a week at home to check on how I was doing. I definitely recommend Parham Doctors' Hospital for joint replacement based on my experience.

Not so great. The nurses in the ER did not agree with the authority granted by my medical proxy and power of attorney for a family member. It took a magistrate to explain that a medical TDO was not required under the circumstances since a p.o.a. was in place. The nurses refused to provide forced medication until a doctor ordered it. Then I was told it was a one time order and would not be continued. The left hand did not know what the right hand was doing.

I have to say... Of course not every staff member is going to be absolute perfection BUT EVERY SINGLE NURSE IN THE PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT IS AAAHHHMAZING!!!! ❤️ Furthermore, Ryan, bossman of the nurses is absolutely attentive and dedicated! Everyone is ready to smile and makes you feel like no need or want is too much or an inconvenience! Their communication and the vibe while you are sitting there healing and not feeling the best truly makes you feel better faster! This team definitely has such a refreshing dedication and love for their profession! And they've literally saved my life multiple times when other hospitals sent me home. I no longer even attempt to go to memorial regional hospital anymore. I drive further because they are always on point! The ER as well has been nothing but great as well! Unfortunately my autoimmune disease has me sick often lately and I never feel like a burden! 10 out of 10! ❤️💯🔥🤌😊
