After Derrick’s open-heart surgery, he stayed at Osborn Health & Rehabilitation for his recovery, and we are so grateful for the care he received. The nursing staff was compassionate, attentive, and always treated him with kindness and respect. The therapy team was encouraging and played a huge role in helping him regain his strength and confidence. Everyone worked together to make sure he was comfortable and progressing every day. Recovering from heart surgery was overwhelming, but the staff made the process much easier for both Derrick and our family. Their professionalism, patience, and genuine concern never went unnoticed. Thank you to everyone at Osborn Health & Rehabilitation for helping Derrick on his road to recovery. We truly appreciate everything you did and highly recommend your facility.

My mother was transferred to this facility and the ONLY good thing was the PT/OT/ST. Therapy was kind, patient and caring. However, if you want your loved one to receive their meals, have their calls lights answered and received their medication when needed you MUST be there with them day and night which is so sad. Call lights went unanswered up to 42 minutes multiple times for my mother and I had to go find someone. Many time I had to help not only my mother but her roommate because no one came to help her. Cockroaches were found in the bathroom and crawling near my mom’s bed. I reported the lack of care to the Director of Nursing twice and unfortunately nothing changed. I would hear people yelling for assistance down the hallways and would hear nurses or CNAs reporting of patience being left in soiled diapers and playing the blame game often. I pulled my mom out a week after being there in order to care for her at home. They are understaffed although it looked like a lot of people are on the floor and walking around but there is no ratio requirement which is so sad. I really thought I picked a great place when visiting but unfortunately it was an absolute nightmare and I truly feel so sad for anyone that is there that may require full dependence on the facility or nurses/CNAs. Please look elsewhere for your loved one.

Osborn is a stellar place for your loved ones. They keep it clean, every time I visit my mom they have cleaning crew taking care of the hallways and pt rooms. The staff is great from the front desk, to administrators, to the pt caregivers, CNAs, RNs, Shower Girls, PT/OT, all their people are doing their best. They communicate well with family (even when the family is overbearing) and listen, as well, try an come up with solutions for problems. Of course there are days it could be better, but they work hard for their 5 star by Medicare. The only thing I would change is the food they serve the patients, food is all important for our health and well-being. Good healthy food = healing pts

The staff that I had most if the time were excellent. Ben was the best at giving injections. Katie and Hanna were wonderful for my showers. Karl was so wonderful each morning even though he was waking us up. The staff for OT and PT were awesome. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends. The food was ok. There were times when calling for staff it took them over an hour to answer. It really stressed people there if they could not getup for the toilet. I do realize that there were many patients and at night they were really busy. I have three nurses and therapist in my family. They told me that Osborn Therapy has come up in the last four years. I appreciated there concerns about our comfort.

-WARNING- Do not take your loved ones here. The first day I walked in to visit my father was a nightmare. Just to start......They took his clothes that were there, were supposed to log in his belongings and when asked where they were, I had a CNA inform me this was never completed and was told sorry but the employees there are lazy. The first day there, they also failed to give him the appropriate dosage of medicine as instructed by the previous doctor/hospital. My father and I informed the nurse this was incorrect dosage and was met with unprofeesionalism and kept receiving incorrect dosage through his 3 day stay until I asked for this to be escalated. He declined in health and sent back to the hospital. Dinner there consisted of bolgnae folded inside a tortilla, for being a better part and wealthier part of scottsdale, I believe they serve better food in correction facilities. This place is apalling, the facility was super outdated with drawers that kept sliding out, outdated furniture, lack of service and attention, and when I asked the DIRECTOR of the facility, they told me that the dosage change was never approved apposed to what he was supposed to be receiving and that they would speak with the staff. I felt like I was in a game show waiting for someone to pop out saying this was all a joke. Go anywhere else but here. This is more of a front than a place for recovery and rehabilitation in my opinion, I hope they make drastic improvements for the sake of everyone going here seeking recovery to their health!!!! I would have pulled my father out of this facility on day 1 if I could have. This place needs to be investigated!!!!
