On Lok House

On Lok House is an affordable housing community for low-income seniors ages 62 and older located in Philadelphia's Chinatown neighborhood. The community offers 54 one-bedroom apartments designed with energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

The community provides a medical screening room for visiting doctors and health care workers to serve residents' health needs. On Lok House is positioned near the cultural, dining, and retail opportunities of Center City, as well as Independence National Historical Park and its landmark sites.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets in their apartments, and service or assistance animals are also welcome. Pet owners must follow community rules regarding registration, inoculation, waste disposal, and restraint in common areas to maintain a safe and sanitary living environment. Management does not apply pet rules to assistance animals and their owners.

The community is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for residents with disabilities, including modifications to policies, procedures, and apartments or common areas as necessary to ensure equal opportunity.
