Absolutely worse place, treat the residents like crap, leave them in urine for hours. You can smell the pee and poop as soon as you walk in. The actives are boring and the person is lazy. They treat the staff like garbage and let people not in office run the place. They lie about food and the employees eat most of the stuff leftover before the residents get more. The snacks that are offered are the best thing about this place unless the night shift eat it instead of passing them out. They have people who need help eating that no feeds and just drops food everywhere. If you don’t love your family or care about them this is the place to send them but if you do love them stay away from them

My mother finished her final two years on this earth at Oak Ridge. The staff took very good care of her, from the kitchen, to the housekeeping, to the personal and medical care. She passed in peace surrounded by people who loved her like their own. I do not regret encouraging her to stay there when she couldn’t care for herself adequately anymore. While reviewing messages on her tablet recently, I saw where someone asked her if they were treating her okay at the nursing home. Her response was, “Oh yeah, they treat me like a queen.” In her own words, Oakridge delivers top notch care. The staff and people are some of the best you will ever meet.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Mom spent only 5 days here before she passed away, but everyone I came in contact with on their staff was friendly, attentive and gently caring with Mom. From someone who has had nightmare experiences with nursing homes in the past I have not one negative thing to say about Oak Ridge. It was a blessing for Mom in her final days and for me as well. A big thank you from my family to Oak Ridge for being so good to our Mother, Diane Standerfer these past couple of weeks. You’re doing it right in my opinion.

While I was visiting family near by this general area.My family noticed a very heavy scent of cigarettes and marijuana.We seen two young girls out in the back area talking loudly cursing... These individuals were outside often.Mostly just the two but where also seen with a few elderly patients in wheelchairs. Although they were around the corner from the patients in wheelchairs they weren't very far. It was a very unpleasant scene. This was a huge disappointment if you got people like this working there I'd strongly advise not putting your family in this nursing home. Especially this being around homes that have families with children.

I thought this place was delightful.But through out time I've seen patients needs put aside and a lot of them complained about the staff not taking care of there needs.Families called and complained about there grand parents or parents stuff being gone for long periods of time.Plus how did they pass inspection.They had covid patients still existing with in the facility.It seems far fetched but you aren't suppose to put non covid patients with positive covid patients but they did just that.Call lights not being answered,patients not being tented to, patients being put down by other staff. I thought that the elderly being in a "Well Ran Nursing Home" were suppose to be treated as human.In this case my observations made me not want to believe people could be so cruel and bitter towards the elderly. Who's running this place? I think state needs to go out there again full inspection while the main woman who runs the place & her staff stand a side.Get a proper inspection while they're not trying to keep state busy by hiding what's really going on.This is not a team of people that seem to care about there job none the less this is not a team at all.
