The staff who care for my mom on a daily basis are exceptional. Annie and her team really care about the residents. The Concierge desk especially Desiree are so great. They are warm and engaging and always make me feel good when I enter the building. I am so grateful that my mother is living here!

My father and his partner, both 95 years old, moved into Oakmont of Burlingame about four months ago. It was a big but necessary change for both of them. The whole staff of Oakmont made the transition as smooth as possible. The care team consisting of the nurses and care givers are very kind and hard working. The concierge team including Desiree Vigil as well as Giselle Raj are key to keeping Oakmont running smoothly. They help us with many tasks, keep an eye on my father and his partner when we are not there, and are so pleasant and friendly. Oakmont has been a good fit for my father and his partner.

18 months ago, when my mother was no longer able to live on her own, I moved her into memory care at Sunrise of Burlingame. From day one, I've felt like the staff sees my mother like a really good friend. They make her feel very special. When we leave the building, we're always greeted at the front desk with big smiles and a genuine interest in where we're going. And, when we return, they always ask my mom how her day was. Desiree is always willing to go the extra mile in answering everyone's questions, and if she doesn't know the answer, she'll get back to you or let you know who to talk to. The front desk can often get crazy busy, but Desiree always gets everything taken care of and still takes the time to make sure that I'm doing well, too. As my mother would say, "Desiree" is such a doll!!! Five 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟 Things are not the same since the management changed to Oakmont of Burlingame last year. There's been a huge turnover of staff. Some not so good... which is a shame. 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟

From the moment you’re greeted by Desiree at the front desk, Sunrise of Burlingame surrounds you with warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion. Our mother compliments the staff daily and is in a socially engaging and supported environment. Antoinette makes sure each of the residents have a positive and home like ‘community’. The nursing staff is attentive to the medical needs and general health of the residents. The kitchen team provides a delightful variety of healthy meals and the caregivers are AMAZING! They are all extended family to me now. Wonderful.

Loving and caring staff...my mom had a much easier time moving in here than we expected! Staff is hardworking, fun, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do and like working here. Expect to be welcomed in by name and made to feel at home once your loved one moves in - you gain an instant family. Families have their ups and downs, but they'll always have your loved ones best interest at heart! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do!
