I visited Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill five times to assist a friend to locate supported housing. I always found the staff very kind and friendly. The food is fantastic and the facility is clean, homey and beautiful. I especially want to appreciate the professionalism, kindness and flexibility of Kimberly Devilbiss and Jack Curtner who spent hours assisting us.

This review is only for our first visit to see if this is a good place for my brother to reside in following a stroke. Initial impressions are very good. It is clean and the residents that we were around all looked very healthy and seemed happy. We spoke to a 7-year resident as we were leaving who informed us that she loved living there and that we'd be lucky to move our brother in! Kimberly Devilbiss, the Sales and Marketing Director was extremely kind and informative and has helped us navigate our way through this assisted living maze. Several residents commented on how wonderful she was while we were touring the facility with her.

I came to visit my aunt recently, and during my visit she expressed that she is very unhappy with the care she has been receiving. She explained that it is extremely difficult to get assistance from staff members when she needs help. She also shared that she has repeatedly tried to speak with the main manager, whom I believe is named Chris, regarding these concerns. According to her, her concerns are often dismissed, and although she is told that a nurse will come to assist her, no one ever follows through. Additionally, when my mother first moved my aunt into the facility, she felt that the reality of the care and services provided was very different from what was originally promised in the beginning. It is also disappointing that the staff have made my Aunt feel as though she is being difficult or unreasonable for raising legitimate concerns, especially considering the significant amount being paid for my aunt’s care.

Csre Staff are wonderful. But the price is high, nearly as much as rent. I'm in a wheelchair, need to have help getting into and up from bed. And I wear diapers. They're g ood. My only problem is sometimes long wait for them to respomd.

Ivy Park is a wonderful place for many retirees. Lots of amenities and services. Menus, which I did not try, appear to be very good. I did not stay actually stay at this location so cannot comment on the room accomodations. Staff was excellent. As an independent living senior, I feel that the prices were a bit high, as I do not need as much help as residents who need much more attention and services to get around. I also eat a moderate amount of food to maintain my weight, so I wil not benefit from the amount of food available to the residents who are not on a weight control diet. My comments are not as positive because of my situation which is different from most other seniors who need a lot of support. Roger Dong, an 82 year old, mobile senior.
