My aunt moved into Ivy Park Senior Living about a year ago, and shortly after, the community went through an acquisition with a new company taking over management. Naturally, our family was a little concerned at first about what changes might come and how it would affect the residents. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by how positive the experience has been. The staff has continued to provide compassionate, attentive care, and my aunt feels genuinely comfortable and supported here. The food is consistently good, the community is clean and welcoming, and the beautiful water views make it an especially peaceful place to live. Most importantly, we’ve seen that the residents truly matter to the team. We’re grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and care they’ve shown throughout the transition and beyond. Highly recommend for families looking for a caring senior living community.

I came to visit this place and it is breathtaking. If you really want your family member to stay somewhere safe and beautiful this is the place. They have all the amenities you can think of and the staff are kind and friendly. You should really take a look in person because you'll fall in love with it once you see it. They also have live entertainment and the residents were having a great time.

I got a close family friend settled here a few months ago and she loves it. She was thrilled to find a place that would let her keep her small dog with her and when I am able to visit we walk together with him on the nearby trails. Her one bedroom apartment is the perfect size for the 2 of them and she really enjoys all the amenities and the community. There is a small salon and it’s fun to go with her and chat while she has her nails done.The location is also really convenient, with Costco and Safeway nearby for shopping. She’s been loving it here and the staff has been supportive, friendly and accommodating

My 91-year-old mother lived at Glen Cove for approximately 3 years before the facility became Ivy Park at Glen Cove. Under the previous ownership, our family was very happy with the care, staff and communication. Unfortunately, after the transition to Ivy Park, we experienced a significant decline in the quality of care and overall management, including escalating care charges. Many of the longtime caregivers and med techs who provided excellent care left the facility, and remaining staff appeared to be overworked and stretched too thin. I truly feel for many of the employees were kind and doing their best under difficult conditions. As my mother's needs increased, we no longer felt confident she was receiving the level of care she deserved, which ultimately forced us to move her out on short notice and place her in a board and care home. I also had concerns regarding communication and leadership. I requested escalation of my concerns to corporate and asked for follow-up regarding billing and refund considerations but never received confirmation that these concerns were addressed. When I found out who to escalate to, at corporate, and spoke to the Operations Manager, I never received a follow up response from him either. My mother a retired nurse practitioner who spent her entire life caring for others, including seniors. She retired at 80 years old. Watching her not receive the dignity and support she deserved during this stage of life was heartbreaking for our family. I would highly encourage families considering this facility to ask detailed questions about staffing levels, caregiver turnover fee structures, and how concerns are escalated to corporate management.

It’s heartwarming to see them laughing, socializing, and staying active through thoughtfully planned programs. The staff lead by Tamia, goes above and beyond to make every event feel special and inclusive. From the moment you step in, Angela will give you a beautiful warm smile while Mac and the team will make sure you enjoy your time at the property. Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are not only cared for, but also living a vibrant and fulfilling life here.
