BV is smaller than most and the building is old but the staffing cannot be matched. Dwight was given top notch care for 7 years and I as his caretaker was equally cared for emotionally. I felt like I was part of the “family.”

Let's face it - people who have to go to the Memory Unit never get better, and stay there until they pass away. With all that, I felt that people at Burlingame Villa did everything they could to make my Mother's waning years as pleasant as possible. As long as she could, they would let her move around and eat with others, and when she no longer could, they fed her and worked with Redwood Hospice to make sure she gets adequate medication to help her calm (Redwood Hospice is another place I'd like to praise). In her last days, they kept her as free of suffering as possible. My big thanks to Ana, Maria, Madeleine and Gio for taking her of my Mother for the last 6 years and seeing her to the end

I couldn't be happier with the care my aunt received at the Burlingame Villa.The staff is professional ,patient and incredibly caring, treating my aunt with immense dignity.It is a very nice welcoming little community. The administrators and staff went above and beyond, and I rested easy knowing my aunt was safe and well cared for. I am so grateful for Anna, Gio, Amy, and their staff at Burlingame Villa.

The caregivers at Burlingame Villa really act with respect and love for the residents and for the families of residents. Relationships are at the heart of everything they do. My Dad and I felt an authentic sense of belonging to the community and most appreciate the ways caregivers, administration and other staff worked so well together. I highly recommend Burlingame Villa if you are looking for a safe and loving residence for your family member who needs 24/7 care due to dementia or other memory-loss related conditions.

My Grandmother stayed at Burlingame Villa for over 15 years. The staff and management treat everyone like their own family and have become an extension of our family. They made sure my grandmother was always accommodated. The staff worked very hard to have activities for all the different levels of participation. The range of different levels of activity and capability never stopped them from trying to keep everyone engaged. They keep the facility very clean and do a great job making the Villa a second home.
