Oakmont is not a great place to put your loved ones in they are not safe in the kitchen and do not abide by health code. They fill their waters from hand washing sinks. Nobody is trained. The pictures in the review are of highly concentrated degreaser dripping on cup that are served to your family. They are also using kitchen cooking equipment to hold garbage.

Oakmont Northville is a beautiful and better yet, affordable senior living community. The apartments are spacious and private. The community feels comfortable and is always exceptionally clean! Comparatively to other independent senior communities, the activity calendar is filled with events and outings geared to the interests and abilities of the residents. I love the mixology happy hour! The crafts created are on a “ purchased at Michael’s or Joanne’s” level - just beautiful and fun to do. I also love that they bring in a variety of entertainers and have music playing in the lobby all day! The menu is filled with delicious food that is not the same repetitive items, but does include traditional favorites and comfort dishes. Housekeepers are friendly and do a thorough job. I like that they empty trash everyday and make beds every morning, tasks that can be difficult for seniors. The staff are very warm and loving and don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. The maintenance man is quick to respond to work needing done. They have a receptionist stationed in the building 24/7 to give assistance at all hours of day and night, which is very reassuring.

Oakmont Northville is a wonderful community that offers many activities including an annual family fun day. Residents invite their families to enjoy fun games, great food, and petting farm animals! My kids loved the chickens! This is just one of the fun events Oakmont Northville plans for their residents and families to enjoy! It's a beautiful and clean community with staff that love the residents!

Oakmont of Northville has been incredibly helpful with my mother. She has been there for five years now and they are very nice and friendly people. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect place for my mother to live.
