After my mom was placed in a different facility by another family member for memory care, we moved her to Oak Park Place in Wauwatosa. The care that she received at the other facility was not ideal, and it was also far away from us. We met with Katina initially, who took me on a full tour of the entire facility. After looking at others, we ultimately decided that Oak Park Place, was the best fit not only for my mom, but for our family. Alicia has been amazing from going out to do the initial assessment of mom, to putting together her treatment plan and even stepping in to help care for mom. The staff has been great, and mom is doing well and very comfortable. Keep in mind nothing is perfect, and I am very protective of my mom. With that being said, when some things came up, I was able to speak with administration to have these things addressed, they were done so immediately. The care and compassion that my mom has received since moving here, has been exceptional.

Had a great time at an event held at Oak Park Place in Wauwatosa. The event was called the history of brewing in Wauwatosa. The venue was very clean and staff quite personable and friendly. The chef Jennifer even took time to speak with us and the spread she put out was fantastic. The General Manager and the Marketing Director were also very pleasant and approachable. They offered a tour of the facility which offers assisted living for elderly care. There is also a memory care facility onsite. Excellent facility!

Attended an event called, History of Brewing in Wauwatosa. The talk was very interesting, learned a lot from presenter. The wonderful, friendly staff at Oak Park treated us to snacks and beverage after, including a delicious beer cheese dip made by Jen Martin. Hoping there will be more events we can attend. Great facility.

I had to find a place for my sister, who is now a client ant Oak Park Place after moving her here from California. She was very mobile, alert at time of move in June of 2022. After a series of inquiries I found OPP to be able to provide the type of care, room, advanced care she would need. She started out in assisted living, able to function with a minimal amount of assistance. She then started to have more memory issues, roaming into kitchen helping herself to food or juice which was not good for her continence issues. The director at the time suggested memory care. I looked at several rooms, picked a nice sunny one.<br>I have on occasion had to alert the staff of concerns I had but they were always addressed.<br>I feel she is safe, fed, not abused. staff like her. You will always find concerns at any place but we may have to lower our expectations as we cannot care for our loved one at home.<br>also she just had right knee replaced, staff VERY supportive.
