I went there thinking that I was going too get the apartment, because I had spoken to the manager there she said that she had a one bedroom available so I went there she started the application process and when we got to the part where she asked did I smoke I replied yes and she said I can’t get it too you that’s our policy where I’ve lived in other seniors apartments you can’t smoke in your apartment but there is an area outside where you can smoke so she went on to say that I had to stop smoking for 6 months go to my physician get a letter with Dr. Signature and then return it and I asked if she would have something in 6 months she said I don’t know it’s like you’re trying to tell me what to do with my body as long as I’m not smoking on your property I feel like it should not have been a problem her attitude I picked up on it right away that something just wasn’t right I explained to her that I had too give a sixty day notice where I am now I ask if she could work with me she said I can’t it just wasn’t where I needed too be I had already prayed about it so I know God has something better for me..

My Mom took 1 small step for Woman and 1 Giant Leap for Retirement going on 9 years ago and was 1 of the first residents here. I am forever thankful that she got in here back then. Thank you for accepting my Mom, Horizon.
It's safe, warm, comfortable and in a great area allowing her easy access to grocery shopping, hairdressing, post office, etc. She, kinda an antisocial person L0L has built friendships with a bunch of people here, they look after each other when possible.
My Mom at a little over 80 yrs young, has never been on a highway, unless I'm driving :) so being close to
everything is excellent! She literally has a 20 plus years old car in mint condition with like 68,000 miles.
Prior to Covid Zombie Apocalypse showing up, the club room was a fun place to hang out, throw parties, bbqs, etc.
The place is immaculate. The hallways are well lit, wide, comfortable. The parking garage is warm, safe, and as I am aging I am considering moving here myself.

My family member is looking for senior living in the Wauwatosa area and was excited to get more information about renting at Cedar Glen. She reached out via phone during the designated business hours and left a message with no response. Since then, she has called and left 6 or 7 messages--over the course of about three weeks--with zero response or call back. She has even gone to the building to speak to someone and could not gain access during business hours.
