My Mother came to Oak Manor 3 yrs ago. It was the only place when I toured, that I didn't feel crying putting her there because the place feels like a neighborhood and a home. Its not a hospital looking building thats sterile. Its older, but well kept, and is laid out like a neighborhood. They have independent living with individual parking spaces. Assisted living with individual parking spaces. Apartment assisted living with parking spaces with beautiful, big oak trees lining the street. A Clubhouse, skilled nursing/ rehab is on the property, As well as palliative care towards the back of the property. The Director Justin and head nurse Andy, coordinators Brianna (x2) and Millie become parts of your family that your just so thankful for. It can be scary when you're searching for your parents to go into an assisted living facility. As I mentioned above, this place was the only place that I didn't feel like crying when I left there., I was thankful to be able to put my mother there. It's a wonderful place to visit and the people there try their very best to make your family feel at home.

Last week, Kaitlin and Jennifer helped me so much with my esophagus problem. Kaitin amazed me at her comprehensive knowledge of my swallowing etc. issues...every question I had she answered with additional helpful healthy recommendations. Jennifer did a good job at helping me schedule the appt. with Kaitlin..and now for an outpatient test. I appreciate, very much, both your assistance. Kmw

My father-in-law was at Oak Manor Skilled Nursing for Rehab. He struggled with his initial transition as it was a big change for him, but the team rallied around him and encouraged him daily. The entire therapy team is fantastic. I could not have asked for a more caring and supportive group. Susan, the speech therapist is so amazing and was so kind and patient with him. I truly cannot say enough positive things about her. We will forever be grateful to her. Amanda, the Nurse supervisor was so helpful in answering any questions I had. I am thankful for her kindness. It felt like she was just as invested in his recovery as we were. Jessica in Social Services is a true Angel. Her kindness and ability to support shows no limits. The front desk team were always so pleasant and thoughtful with my father-in-law. He made daily visits for hot choc and they never let him down. His room was always clean and tidy thanks to the housekeeping services provided. He loves to eat...as we all know, and he looked forwarded to the wonderful meals provided by the dietary team. That neon green hat may no longer be bopping up and down your hallways but know he truly will miss you and he shed a few tears as we were leaving to return to his ALF. Thank you for your kindness and your dedication, but mostly for treating my family like he was part of your family.

I’m actually shocked at the bad reviews on here. My mother has been there since 2016 and has received nothing but the best care. The regular care reports that I get are informative and I am always kept up-to-date by the staff. In comparison to the other facilities I have visited there is no comparison. Whenever I visit, the facility is always clean, well maintained, and well staffed. I know my mother can be a very difficult person to take care of, but the staff loves her. They take very good care of her and I feel safe and confident with my mother there. as I said, she has been there since 2016 so she was there through the pandemic and the staff and facility took excellent care of her. People need to understand it’s a skilled nursing facility not a five star hotel. The staff works very hard to make sure our loved ones are taken care of, but it is a skilled nursing facility not a resort.

My mother in law has been at Oak Manor since May 2016. Our experience at Oak Manor has been awesome! Helping my husband make the choice to place his mother in skilled nursing was hard at first but after visiting with the staff it was clear this was the right move. Kim and Holly were very responsive to all our questions of which there were many back then. Move in day couldn't have been easier and felt welcoming, at first being in a new place was hard on my mother in law. My mother in law really likes where she is and refers it to home. The campus is quiet yet there are a lot of activities planned! I would recommend Oak Manor to anyone looking for a positive community.
