About Nye Square

Being family-owned and located in the Midwest has helped make us a strong company with a rich history.

Feeling at home has little to do with the physical structures that house us, and has everything to do with our sense of belonging — feeling we’re in the right place.

Russ Peterson and his wife Jennifer founded Nye Health Services in 1989 on the philosophy that older adults deserve services that recognize the individual and are tailored to their unique needs. As a company, we do not aspire to be the largest. We never want to lose our connection to the people we serve, it’s the core of our success.

I highly recommend Nye Square for anyone looking for a AL/IL community that truly delivers high-end service and an exceptional living experience. From enjoying a swirl of soft-serve ice cream to gathering for happy hour and card games with friends, there’s always something fun and engaging happening. What truly sets Nye Square apart is the quality of the team. The staff members genuinely serve from the heart, and it shows in everything they do. They consistently go above and beyond to create the best possible experience not only for the tenants, but for their fellow team members as well. The environment is welcoming, vibrant, and filled with people who care deeply about the community they’re part of. Nye Square is a place where service, hospitality, and heart come together beautifully.

I ended up I went for knee rehab, the rehab facility was over booked. I ended up in Nye Pointe nursing home My arrival did not include an orientatio., which did affect my stay. The CNA who initially took care of me, was not informed of my arrival it caused her stress which affected her care of me. The dietary staff did everything they could to take care of my unique needs. However, the food never rose above appalling and it was the biggest reason I left. The nursing staff were stellar, the physical therapy Staff were also stellar, all encountered were kind and friendly. The bathing staff was also exceptional; many of the CNA’s were exceptional. The medicinal staff was very caring and exceptional. There was a nurse who came on only at night who was very special. One of the nurses concerned about my special diet needs went out of her way to make sure I had food. She brought me food from her home because she had similar needs. I was very impressed by her.

Despite the problem with the food, the staff made such overtures of kindness, that I felt the facility did deserve for stars. Apologies I am unable to edit this review due to technology issues with a full form.
