I honestly wouldn’t know where to start to express how grateful we are for finding Nurse Next Door Monroe. Allison’s responsiveness to inquiry, compassionate responses, and immediate accommodation saved our family during a very stressful time. I felt like every day our family member received care, Allison and her nursing staff went above and beyond. I finally realized that is just how they operate. Everyone is so patient-focused and knowledgeable, while still engaging with real intention to support caregivers involved as well. My family member being cared for felt seen and heard, and so did we. Even when we needed another voice to push doctors for appointments, they were right by our side. My family member is now medically stable thanks to them. I know for a fact that we would not have gotten through our crisis without Nurse Next Door Monroe. I will never say enough good things about Allison and each nurse that came to our home. We also won’t use another caregiver service aside from Nurse Next Door Monroe now that we know the bar has been set so high by them. Allison and her team are amazing couldn’t have had better care and help! I recently was under Allison’s care for a small procedure and there was not any detail that was forgotten. From answering questions, to physical care to helping with everyday tasks Allison and the team were there every step of the way! Super thankful for their time and help and will definitely being using the in the future !

I often heard about angels. Those spirits with wings that would come in to comfort you when the heart was heavy. They would be there to give words of wisdom or just hold your hand. At first, I thought how wonderful that would be to have experienced the warmth of an angel. To be able to have them come and take all the pain away if only just for a moment. To be able to understand what you are going through and how truly scared you are. But above all, just to “be” there, to let you know it is okay to cry, and that you are not alone. I can now honestly say that I not only believe in the existence of angels, but that I have met one in my lifetime; and yes, they are as wonderful and beautiful as all the stories you have heard about them. My angel is Allison. Where does one begin to write about someone who possesses compassion, warmth, and is caring as part of their natural personality. Someone who always puts the other person first, and who lights up the room when they enter and puts your heart, mind, and soul at ease just with their presence alone. These are all qualities that Allison not only possesses but that make up the very core of her being. I have had the pleasure of knowing Allison for over three years. She is extremely committed to her position and lives to serve others by making their lives more comfortable while they are going through a most difficult time. This was what Allison did every time she came to visit my mother. She would greet her with a smile, hold her hand gently and listen to her as if she was the only patient she had. She always brought a serving of love with her and shared that love with both of us. My mother was 96 years old, and I was taking care of her while in Hospice in my home. If it were not for Allison, I would not have survived. I was never afraid to leave my mother alone in the room with Allison, because I knew that she would treat my mother as if she were her own. I highly recommend Allison as that medical professional when there is a need to explain what is happening, or another set of hands to help turn or lift your loved one so that task would not be so burdensome for you, or that shoulder you need to lean on when it all is so overwhelming. You can rest knowing that you and your loved ones will be treated with respect and dignity and that any medical care and assessment that she gives is of the highest quality for the betterment of the patient. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Allison can truly say that they have met an angel.
