My grandpa was at Northern Manhattan for about three weeks, and we had a really good experience. When he first got there, he could barely stand or bend his knees, but the therapy helped a lot. By the time he went home, he was walking with a walker and moving much better. The staff was always nice whenever I called to check on him, and they kept me updated on how he was doing. The only thing I think could be better is the food, but overall we’re really happy with the care he received and appreciate everything the staff did for him.

From our first tour visit through the entire admissions process, we received truly exceptional service. Unlike other facilities that had contacted us about our grandfather, Jimmy stood out immediately. He was professional, articulate, and genuinely attentive to what our family needed. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed. Instead, we felt welcomed, respected, and valued every step of the way. Thank you, Jimmy, for making a difficult process so much easier.

Northern Manhattan is a wonderful facility. My cousin and I were helping our uncle find a place where he would feel comfortable, safe, and at peace. From the moment we arrived, Jimmy was attentive and took the time to answer our questions. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at ease right away. We were given a lovely tour of the facility, and we were impressed by the engaging activities available for the residents. It was clear that the residents were happy, well cared for, and treated with kindness and respect. Our greatest hope is for our uncle to be happy, and we truly believe we found a place that will provide him with the love, care, and attentiveness he deserves. I would highly recommend Northern Manhattan to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate community for their loved one. Thank you so much, Jimmy! We appreciate your patience!

One of my family members has been a resident here, and overall our family has had a positive experience. The staff has always treated her with kindness and respect, and it’s clear that many of the nurses and aides genuinely care about the residents. Whenever we’ve had questions, someone has taken the time to help us. The facility is kept clean, and we’ve noticed the staff working hard to make sure residents are comfortable. No place is perfect, but we’ve appreciated the compassion and professionalism we’ve seen. We’re grateful for the care my aunt has received and would recommend this facility to other families looking for rehabilitation or long-term care.

I recently toured Northern Manhattan while looking for a rehab facility for my loved one. Like many people, I read the reviews beforehand and wasn’t sure what to expect, so I wanted to see it for myself. I’m really glad I did. The gentleman who gave me the tour was kind, understanding, and extremely professional. He took his time walking me through the facility, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. I really appreciated that. The facility itself was much nicer than I expected. The rooms were large, everything looked updated, and the staff I came across were friendly. During my visit, the residents were enjoying a carnival event, and it was nice to see so many people smiling, laughing, and actually participating. That meant a lot to me because I’d want my loved one to be somewhere they’re cared for and encouraged to enjoy themselves. I won’t lie the neighborhood isn’t the greatest. But once I walked inside, that wasn’t what mattered anymore. What mattered was the environment, the staff, and how the residents seemed to be treated. If you’re considering Northern Manhattan, I’d recommend taking a tour and seeing it for yourself instead of relying only on online reviews. I’m glad I did because it gave me a completely different perspective.
