I hate this place they don't seem to want to help or even listen. I miss community counseling I wish they would have never closed at least there the counselors cared enough to listen to you and even got to know you. The care was exceptional at C.C and you felt like they really cared the doctors were also great and listened to your concerns and showed compassion ,

I can’t say enough about how great the staff have been. Lisa the PA, Donna W a therapist, Cathy F the CM and Dr Saxon. They have been so very, very kind, and supportive for our family. They have done more than I could’ve imagined and have given the help we needed at the time we needed at the most. They were kind, compassionate, and truly listen.

Last week I was not physically feeling well. I was not feeling like myself as a result. Additionally, I am sure that my state of mind, etc. was not as it should have been. A friend was concerned about me. This friend called for a wellness check. Two counselors showed up at my door. One informed me that a “complaint had been filed against “ me and that they were here to check on me. The words in quotations are exact. While it is nice to know that my friend cared about me, and my well being, the counselors remarks when they were here left me feeling horrible. Had it been a true life or death situation, I would have told these counselors the same thing that I told them when it happened - “I was okay “. Sadly, I would not have accepted any help from northeast counseling. I probably would rather have accepted the possibility of dying rather than being seen as a “complaint “. The fact that a wellness check might be a lifeline for someone is possible. Counselors should be trained to be aware of the words that they are using. I found out later that there is no such thing as a complaint being filed against anyone. A wellness check should be termed as a wellness check not a “complaint”. Extremely bad choice of words by northeast counselors. The next day, a supervisor called me to ask me how I felt about the “incident last night”. These again are the exact words in quotations. This too was a poor choice of words in my opinion. I am giving only my opinion and feelings about this event. It does not inspire any confidence in the caring, compassion, respect or concern for my welfare by northeast counseling. I will NOT ever recommend them to anyone or ever use their services . Should anyone call them for a wellness check, I would highly recommend caution on behalf of the caller. Such a call may be someone’s lifeline.

I go to North East counseling Wilkes Barre location and I love my provider Sam!!! She is loving kind understanding and helpful she really truly listens to me... For the first time in my life. I'm 40 and never felt to cared about by my mental health provider!! I'd give her 10 stars if I could. Great Job
