I was at Orzac today and was really impressed with staff and condition of the center.. There was something that did disturb me , this very nice and informative dietitian came around to speak with a patient .When she passed by, she went over how much water this patient was drinking and then proceeded to tell her with " HEART FAILURE" she should't drink too much water because it hard on your heart. Then she saw her swollen feet and AGAIN she said try to stay away from salt, too much salt isn't good for people with HEART FAILURE !!..Maybe there is a nicer way of saying watch your water and salt intake! !!

We are so grateful for the experience we have had with Orzac. They have been wonderful. They treated my aunt with such kindness and dignity. The facility is spotless and my aunt actually looks forward to eating their meals. They have a ton of space dedicated to both Physical and Occupational therapy and a great deal of equipment in comparison to other facilities we were considering for my aunt’s stay in subacute care post stroke. Would be happy to recommend Orzac to anyone looking for subacute care for their loved one. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who made this such a positive experience for my aunt and for us 🫶

Our family’s experience was difficult. We often found our grandmother sitting unattended for extended periods with minimal engagement outside of daily physical therapy. When we requested assistance, we were told staff needed to complete rounds before tending to her. While we understand facilities are busy, it was hard to see her without more stimulation or proactive care. Families may want to be prepared to advocate frequently for their loved ones.

My mom spent 3 weeks at Orzac Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing after what we thought to be a straight forward surgery was complicated by physical deficits that required rehabilitation before returning home. The nursing staff was attentive from day one. Her nurse, Mike , went out of his way to ensure she received the pain meds needed so she could be comfortable. The head CNA on her unit Stephanie was so compassionate and attentive to her needs. My mom raved about her OT Leah and PT Scott who also did a wonderful job of keeping me in the loop about how she was progressing. The Director of Rehabilitation , Patrick, even visited several times to ensure she was happy with the services she was receiving! The facility was clean and all the staff were helpful. They even had a nice and quiet outdoor space for patients and families to enjoy time together. I couldn’t end this review without mentioning the food . My mom had been to other Rehab facilities in the past and wouldn’t eat unless I brought food from the outside , but the menu here at Orzac was truly an added bonus … rosemary marinated lamb chops, shrimp scampi, wild caught black bass ?!?!?! What Rehab facility has this kind of menu !?!?! If I could give more stars , I would ! Thank you so much Team Orzac for all you did to care for my Mom…. We both are so thankful !

Most of the staff is very caring and attentive to the patients needs. Also the facility is extremely clean and the food is excellent. My physical therapist Johnny and occupational therapist Jessie were the best. They helped me become stronger and I was able to go home within a few weeks. Also a special thank you to CNA Maxine, Nurse Marcia and Nurse Ahfad they were also the absolute best. Love you all.
