Nativity BVM

Nativity BVM is an affordable housing community for seniors ages 62 and older located in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Housed in an adapted former building of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's grade school, the community serves low-income seniors without providing on-site medical or personal care services.

The community offers 63 one-bedroom apartments equipped with energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. A medical screening room is available for visiting doctors and health care workers to use when serving residents.

Nativity BVM is situated near Campbell Square and Frank Glavin Memorial Playground, providing residents with access to neighborhood recreational spaces. The community maintains a non-smoking policy throughout all premises, including residents' apartments and common areas.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets in their apartments, and service or assistance animals are also welcome. Pet rules are in place to maintain safe and sanitary living conditions, including guidelines on pet registration, inoculation, waste disposal, and restraint in common areas. Management does not apply pet rules to assistance animals and their owners.
