Mt. Sterling Health and Rehab is a 144-bed skilled nursing facility located just outside historic downtown Mount Sterling, Kentucky, offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation, respite care, palliative, and hospice care. Now under new management by family-owned RISE SNF Management, the facility is certified for Medicare and Medicaid and accepts other qualified insurance carriers.

The facility provides comprehensive rehabilitation services delivered by licensed physical, speech, and occupational therapists. Physical therapy helps residents regain strength and mobility through therapeutic exercise and modalities to restore normal function. Speech language pathology addresses cognition, memory, and swallowing deficits. Occupational therapy supports residents in regaining independence with range of motion exercises, massage, modalities to decrease pain and swelling, and splinting, with a fully functional kitchen in the therapy room to retrain lost skills in a home-like setting.

Respite Care is available as a short-term program designed to provide family members a break from caring for chronically or terminally ill loved ones at home, whether for a weekend or several weeks, offering residents a warm and secure social environment with staff to meet their specific needs.
