My wife was a patient at Bourbon Heights nursing home for 18 months. She received excellent care from the staff. They were very professional and very patient with her personal needs! I would recommend Bourbon Heights to anyone that is looking for a safe and caring facility for your loved one!

"Where your loved ones are just a number on the bottom line to us" should be their business moto these days.. I have over 7 years experience with visitation, and in those 7 years I have seen the residence care reduced dramatically. They are currently moving residence now that have been in private rooms for over 5 years at no additional cost to shared rooms that are the same size if not smaller rooms. I have no problem with my loved one sharing a room if it is setup for two residents. Bourbon heights is setup as a non profit organization, it should not be about making a profit. They don't have enough staff to properly care for the residents they currently have, but they want to add another 5 to 7 people to unit one.

The break rooms for CNAs are ridiculous, CNAs are treated horribly, residents are neglected, and nurses are lazy.

My mother has been there for seven months, and we are very happy with the treatment she gets. The staff is professional and caring. My Mom is healthy and clean and fitting in really well. Thank you, Bourbon Heights.

If you ever wonder why they aren't staffed and everything is on fire with miscommunication, drama, and personality conflict- start here. This is how their staffing department treats Nurses and CNAs that travel to their building to help them. After working however many hours for them, they will treat you like this- as a credentialed professional. Get real yall. Imagine how they will treat your family members with mentality like this. Some workers actually drive 3 or 4 hours to work a shift for them- so riddle me this- how would you feel if you grabbed an emergency shift for this facility- drove the 4 hours in at 7pm- worked 12 hours til 7am- drove 4 hours home to get there at 11am- and then you try to submit a timesheet and you get this type of response? Terrible.
