If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. On the surface, this center seems like it is well maintained. I will admit it is one of the cleanest facilities I have ever seen, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Those are the only positives I can say about this place. The staff on the other hand is another story. My mom was admitted here and from the start it seemed like they were trying to push her out of the facility because her insurance had limited coverage. Zero conversations about other options such as paying out of pocket or the fact that my mom would not be ready to go home in a few weeks’ time. The social worker Karla was extremely rude, would talk over me, and had an attitude when I pressed for more information about my mom's release date and switching her insurance. She lied about the insurance process despite my telling her she was misinformed (I was told something entirely different directly from the source). She also tried to lie and say that my mom stated she wanted to go home when that was never said. Karla then went to my mom's room and tried to scold her and was insisting that my mom told her she wanted to go home, which my mom flatly denied. I am not sure if Karla is used to dealing with absentee family members and thought she could lie to me, but I am fully hands on with my mom's care for this very reason! She is also lacking in empathy and seemed to give textbook responses to my questions. Perhaps, she is in the wrong line of work, because medical care does not seem to be a good fit for her. The CNA and nurses also need to work together and practice better communication. The CNA would give my mom an insulin shot an hour before eating, but my mom would not always eat because the food here was absolute garbage. She would ask for an alternative meal and those requests were ignored by the staff. So, my mom would not eat anything and that would cause her blood sugar to drop. The last time this happened they practically killed her. It was about 4am when her roommate alerted staff that my mom was acting incoherent and talking gibberish. Yet not one person called me except my mom almost 4 hours later! I could tell immediately something was wrong. It seemed like the nurse was trying to avoid sending my mom to the ER. My mom was insistent on going to the hospital, but the nurse stated she couldn’t send her when her vitals were stable. Thankfully, the hospital agreed that my mom be admitted right away. When the hospital tried to send her back later that same day, they were told there were no beds available. Within 5 hours’ time the facility had supposedly tested her roommate for an infection, and they effectively kicked my mom out of the room. I was calling the facility to find out why they would not take her back and where did her belongings go to. I was told no one could tell me anything and I could only speak to the director, Jonah. I called the director 5 - 6 times with no reply. I would call the facility back and the receptionist insisted the director was responding to their text messages and that the director would call me back. I eventually got to speak to Jonah and I was told all my mom’s belongings would be packed up. Her things were tossed in bags with an unsecured beverage that leaked all over her things. All in all, this facility was a HUGE disappointment, with careless staff, and very rude case workers. Don’t be fooled by the outer appearances like I was.

Please release my mom. She does not need to be there anymore. She had been trying to get in contact with a social worker for almost 2 weeks now when the office is evidently across the hall from her. Please let her go. She has met her goals and will not get better while there, she needs to go home. Thank you for addressing the food issue, quality has improved some. Will change my review if issues are fixed. Please put some love and care into your food. Please check your patients more often or staff appropriately coverage so patient neglect doesn't occur. Please do not gaslight your patients with hipaa claims, you are just choosing not to communicate with a non English speaker. I'm sorry I agreed to put you here mom.

I recently had the opportunity to experience care at Mountain View Healthcare Center, and it left a strong impression in the best way. The team there creates a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere from the start, which really helps ease any stress or uncertainty. What stood out most was the dedication of the staff. The nurses and caregivers are not only skilled but also incredibly patient and compassionate. They take the time to listen, respond promptly, and make sure each patient feels seen and cared for as an individual. It never felt rushed, everything was handled with intention and professionalism. The facility itself reflects a high standard of care. It’s consistently clean, organized, and designed to be comfortable for patients. Small details, like how well-kept the rooms are and how calm the environment feels, really add to the overall positive experience. I also appreciated how smoothly everything ran. From care coordination to communication, there was a clear effort to keep patients and families informed every step of the way. That level of organization and transparency makes a big difference. Overall, Mountain View Healthcare Center provides a supportive, compassionate, and well-managed environment. It’s a place where you can feel confident that patient care truly comes first.

My grandmother was admitted to MVHCC for a few weeks following a stroke and a difficult hospital stay. From the very beginning, the transition to MVHCC was incredibly smooth. Even the transportation was arranged for us, which made a stressful situation much easier for our family. The rehabilitation team was excellent, and we were very impressed with the level of care and attention she received throughout her stay. The social services department was especially helpful—Kim stood out with her knowledge and dedication. She guided us through the process and made sure we had everything in place for after discharge. Thanks to her support, we were able to arrange additional help at home, including in-home care through an amazing company called Absolute HomeAid. Overall, we are very grateful for the care, professionalism, and support provided by the entire MVHCC team. It made a big difference during a challenging time for our family.
