The care provided by the people who do the heavy lifting with the patients is good. Not a fan of the admission staff, found them to be paranoid and borderline ignorant to the needs of elderly patients. The power imbalance there should be addressed.

There are friendly and helpful staff available as soon as you walk in. Sign in is very easy. It looks clean and only smells a little bit like “old people.“ There seems to be a lot to do for the residents, and my friend is happy there.

We are involved with the Activities Dept., and have always been treated with friendliness, respect, and assistance when necessary. A few years ago an elderly handicapped friend of ours lived at Mountain View. Every time we visited him, we found him well-cared for, comfortable, and quite content.
