I wish I didn't have to give them one star because they deserve any. I have been in this center for a little over 2 weeks. They just moved me to another room today. I have a gj tube due to severe gastroparesis, which means I don't digest food like most people. Anyway they decided that they were not going to crush my medicine anymore and put them into my feeding tube. I have been doing it since 2016, they feel it's better better not to even though my stomach doctor has always wanted to to be that way. I don't have a choice. I call my gastroparesis, permanent pregnancy due to the fact I get sick most of the time daily . This facility isn't willing to give me my medicine the way I am supposed to get them. I would not ever want anyone to have to deal with what I have to deal with.

I can't speak to past experiences but my mother has been there since July and I visit at least twice weekly, and I have observed none of what has previously been mentioned. The facility doesn't smell, the floors aren't sticky, and I have visited at different times of day without any trouble being buzzed in. The staff is attentive, kind, and knows what's going on with my mother. They have ensured she's getting involved in activities recently that have helped her adjust to being there. Nothing is perfect and there is virtually nothing in healthcare that isn't understaffed at this point, but this facility has been a godsend to my family because of how well they care for my mother and how close it is, within walking distance for me. I was so worried based on the reputation of long-term care facilities in general and the reviews here specifically but I know my mom is getting the care she needs that I couldn't give her for her medical conditions at home. That has been such a relief in dealing with everything. I don't think reviews like this get written often enough.

From our experience there this place is horrible. First night my mom was there her hearing aides were lost. Which we paid for out of pocket around 3,000.00 for them. They are terrible about letting people in . The evening visits were worse because being understaffed there was no body at nurses station to buzz you in. The bathroom in my mom's room was so sticky and gross your shoes stuck to the floor. Nasty! The inside is dreary and depressing over all.The windows sweat on the inside constant moisture. I grew up down the street from this place . Had a great aunt there back 2 decades ago. It was a little better then ,but since it has changed names several times. There's a reason for that I am assuming. That place needs a complete overhaul. From building to administration. I get being a nurse is a hard job and I applaud 👏 you for that. But I think over the decades that oath they take is forgotten for some. So for me they get a 1 star!

Not sure how I feel about this facility. Upon entering, the entire building smelled of urine and the floors were dirty. They were horribly understaffed. My grandfather's room had a floor that was sticky and clearly had things that had been spilled and not cleaned. I may change my rating at some point but as of now, I don't feel the care is up to par. My grandfather suffers from dementia and is not receiving enough help with his daily needs like eating, drinking, urinating etc. Without the help of my grandmother, I don't feel he'd get nearly enough assistance. Unfortunately I feel understaffing is playing a large role in this. Not just in this facility, but in facilities across the country. WE MUST DO BETTER FOR OUR ELDERLY!
