We were sold on Mosaic during our tour and everything seemed great, until we moved our loved one in. He was allowed to sit in filthy briefs for hours on end and his room was never properly cleaned. If there was urine on the floor, they would keep mopping the urine with a wet mop around the tile of the room. We as a family visited at least four times a week and pretty much every single time we were there, he was a mess. We constantly brought this to the staff’s attention, and were promised things that never came true. After six weeks, we had to move him out. There were emergency buttons to push in the bathroom and by the residents door, which never worked. Whenever we would bring this up to their attention, they would comment it’s being worked on. The majority of the time visiting him there were only one or two caregivers to be seen and other times there weren’t any on the floor. Most of his shoes and several of his clothes went missing, but were found days later. They wouldn’t tell us where they were. There seems to be a huge turn over of employees as well. I have picture after picture of his living conditions, but all I can tell you if you’re considering memory care is to avoid Mosaic Scottsdale at all costs. The sales employee there had her father there and which was one of the reasons it helped sell me on the place and then I found out that she moved her father out. That told me a lot.

The majority of the staff are very welcoming, kind, helpful and truly a pleasure to interact with. There are many positive experiences I have had with my mom being at Mosaic Gardens.

Turnover, short staffing has been a norm for a few months and resident care is not up to par.

My mom has been left sitting in soaking wet clothes for hours at a time. Today she had not been changed in almost 7 hours upon my arrival.
My brother and I visit 4-5 times a week and are distraught at the conditions we find our mom in.
We have had 3 conversations with Kayla, the new ED and no solutions have been implemented.

I had Thanksgiving Dinner here with my father in law and was impressed with the meal prepared by the executive chef. Several caregivers happened by our table during our meal to check on dad and administer scheduled medication. Everything was very relaxed but organized and felt very comfortable. All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
