When it became impossible for a home care provider and me to keep my wife safe in our home, my daughter and I researched around 50 Memory Care residences in our local area. Nothing compared to Morningstar at Bear Creek in Colorado Sorings. Once we moved her in, she was home, giving the family the much needed feeling that she was in the best place possible for her condition. The leadership and staff are outstanding; we highly recommend Morningstar at Bear Creek.

Placing a loved one in memory care was a difficult decision and a difficult transition, but I’ve learned that just because it is hard doesn’t mean it’s not the right decision. Morningstar at Bear Creek has consistently provided a cognitively appropriate and socially engaging environment that our family member desperately needed. I hesitate to mention any names as everyone contributes meaningfully to this community! There are so many aspects of MorningStar/Bear Creek that deserve recognition…live music, a monthly restaurant outing, cheerful and encouraging staff, seasonal decor, lovely patios and outdoor walking paths, million dollar views, and plenty more. What I didn’t anticipate, but greatly appreciate is how much the staff supports me…listening, encouraging, guiding etc. I thank everyone at MS/Bear Creek for their unceasing efforts to care for our family.

MorningStar has been amazing over the last two years. From the staff to management, the care, compassion, and friendliness throughout the community really stand out. They consistently put residents and families first, and the activities are always fun and engaging. It truly feels like one big family. From the transition in to the transition out, I have nothing but respect for what they have done and continue to do!

I want to thank the entire staff. It was a difficult start but given the situation it would be for anyone moving a loved one. I can absolutely recommend Morning Star at Bear Creek. They continue to make sure that everything is what we have requested and or changes that are needed. The staff is friendly and truly cares for residents. I see this now. Sorry that I the daughter was not the easiest to make happy. This will not change lol. Christine M.

MorningStar at Bear Creek has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff are truly amazing people. A heartfelt thank-you to Dawn, Ruth, Ester, and Giovanna at the front entrance, and to everyone inside — Cara, Bernadette, Denise, Dave, Tessa, Tootie, Kim, Andy, Kellie, Rachel — along with the many other team members who care for my mom with such compassion and dedication. A special thank-you to Gresha, Roberta, and Charlie for always engaging my mom in activities that enrich her life. Their patience and kindness gives me tremendous peace of mind and fills my heart with gratitude, knowing they work together every day to watch over mom and support us through this chapter. I would highly recommend MorningStar at Bear Creek to any family looking for a warm, supportive, and truly caring environment for their loved one.
