My grandmother started at morning point of Powell and is now at the Lantern. The staff has always been incredibly kind and helpful, even though we call them and ask them to do things for us all of the time! We sleep better knowing my grandmother’s care is excellent and she is as safe as she can be given the circumstances.

My husband’s grandmother currently resides in their memory care facility and the assisted living section briefly before this. The attention and care that all of the staff here has given to us as family and her as a resident is unmatched. They are amazing people doing thankless work and we are so fortunate for the care they provide. They are so patient with us as family members as well.

Kayce Graham is an exceptional Activities Director, who truly goes above and beyond for the residents. Her kindness, patience, creativity, and genuine compassion are evident in everything she does. She creates engaging activities that not only keep residents active and involved, but also make them feel valued, included and cared for. She brings such positive energy to the facility and works hard to create meaningful experiences for both residents and their families. It’s clear that she has a true passion for what she does and it makes a tremendous difference in the lives of those around her.

Morning Pointe of Powell cared for my Mom until her death. I am forever indebted to them for her care and their support of me as I cared for her. I was on a learning curve for Assisted Living facilities, how they operate, state regulations…. Morning Pointe’s staff worked with me and always had open communication. We worked through issues together. Most importantly for me, the staff in general and the nursing staff especially would make time for me and my concerns. As Mom’s health failed and hospice was called in the nursing staff was a thousand percent available to answer my questions and concerns, pausing their day to listen and support. This is an amazing plus for resident families because the nursing staff and resident assistants have very demanding jobs with multiple residents to care for who all have varying medical and physical needs. Every staff member from Executive, Operations, Receptionists, Activities, Maintenance, Food Services (food is great!), Residence Assistants are willing to help and support. Caring for an elderly parent can be very stressful for family. In my situation I was confronted with very complex medical issues that could be confusing and overwhelming. Morning Pointe of Powell lessened the burden for me and having that support was everything.
