My dad was recently in rehab at Monte Vista. We were quite pleased with the staff. My dad received excellent nursing care, nutritious food, and excellent therapy from physical, occupational, and speech therapists. So much so that he was able to return home in about two weeks. Not everyone will respond so quickly, but our family was very grateful for his quick turnaround.

This nursing home definitely deserves five stars. The CNAs are incredible — always kind, patient, and very attentive, making sure my daily needs are met with real care and respect. The nurses are just as wonderful, double-checking my medications, answering questions, and always taking time to make sure I’m comfortable. The kitchen and dining staff are amazing too: the food is great, the portions are good, and they make sure you have everything you need at every meal. The activities team is awesome, organizing fun and engaging events that keep everyone active and happy. Social services are fantastic as well — they’re supportive, responsive, and go out of their way to help with any personal needs or family coordination. The doctor’s team and medical staff go the extra mile, even helping with things that are hard for me to do myself, like trimming my toenails, which meant a lot. I also really appreciate the billing office and administration; they are friendly, helpful, and make the paperwork and insurance side of things so much easier. Overall, every department here works together and it truly shows in the care you receive. I highly recommend this place.

Our family is incredibly grateful for the care my grandmother has received at this facility. She is currently here long-term, and throughout her stay the staff has consistently shown compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. The nurses, aides, and support staff treat residents with dignity and respect, and it truly shows in the way they interact with them every day. They take the time to listen, communicate clearly with family members, and make sure our loved ones feel safe and cared for. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, and it gives us peace of mind knowing my grandmother is in good hands. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of everyone here and would confidently recommend this facility to other families looking for long-term care for their loved ones.

When I first arrived , I was scared but after a little time , the nurses and cna's made me feel welcomed. I had the best roommate, her name was Sandra. Feisty, but also a funny Lady. Couldn't ask for a better roommate. The ortho and the physical therapy staff made you feel comfortable and never overworked you (hahaha)love them all. For the entire staff , all the way down to the shower lady Debbie , you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
