Good place. The grounds are quiet. Large hallways are great. Rooms are standard but small.

I loved the nurses, the CNA's and the therapists. I felt the therapists were a great help to me. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Even some of the meals were actually good, better than most hospitals I've been in. The facility is dated and could use some improvements but overall I felt safe and well cared for.

I would not recommend this “rehab.” My mother in law went here stayed 4 days and we brought her to our house. This facility should not be labeled “rehab” when the patient only gets 30 minutes of PT 2 times a day!!!!!!! My mother in law was labeled as “incontinent” on her paperwork, which she is not, they would not assist her to the restroom. She told them she did not need a “diaper” and the assistant said “well you are going to wear it.” She laid in wet clothes for extended hours, they would not assist her in putting her gown on, so she slept in her clothes. When she came out she had developed a UTI.

We had a horrible experience with Sabrina in trying to get our Dad cared for. Despite being cash paying customers, she requested years of financial documentation, insurance documentation, car documentation, etc. She kept requesting more and actually wanted 5 years of deposit slips. She made personal and innapropriate commentary on some of the banking transactions. Lastly, and the most heinous; she, along with her supervisor required a name change on the deeds for 2 houses. A later meeting with an administrator revealed she should not have requested any of this. We jumped through her hoops due to a high stress situation and the need to get our ailing Dad cared for. Sabrina threw up road block after road block and seemed to relish doing so. Beyond Sabrina, the experience was fine and other administrative staff were pleasant and helpful.

My aunt was here less than a week. I don’t live in town so I kept my communication with her over the phone. When she started not to sound right the entire family including the POA called to check on her and see what was going on. The nurse said to the POA she’s fine. Went to see her this morning and she was in bed, covered in urine from her thick blue blanket, gown, sheet, 2 washable pads for protection, draw sheet, and fitted sheet. Was told they don’t wear pads at night. Asked them if it was dark outside? It’s 10 am! Room smelled horrible, patient crying, nurses couldn’t even apologize. All of her belongings were out of reach, no call light, and just neglect. Maybe they thought no one loved her and it was okay to do LESS than the minimum. I bought her 7 days of new outfits and she had pants that were soaked, I mean SOAKED in urine in her closet floor. The nurse said it was her Monday and it her first time meeting the patient. The DON seemed embarrassed. No one deserves care like this. Do your family a favor and keep them the hell away from this place!
