Place is decent and well kept. Staff is easily located when/if ya need to find em. I'll say the one thing I'd like to see more of. Would be more encouraging of social interactions.

Absolutely horrible!! My loved one was mistreated by staff in many ways. We she fell and needed to be taken to the hospital, she wasn’t. Wasn’t taken to the hospital until she was found unresponsive. I will never send a love one here again.

Physical Therapy was phonemonal, however the aids and nursing staff is the reason for the low rating. We had taken many concerns from the lack of showers, teeth not put in before meals, and the safety risks my family member faced to the DON and she just brushed it off as no big deal. Also I had told the nurse my family member had a accident and needed to be changed, instead of directing her to the bathroom, the nurse asked if she needed to go and when my family member said no ( because she had already went in her pants) the nurse simply said I guess we will try again later. And walked away leaving me to clean her up. This was an on going issue. I constantly walked into her room and she had a full 💩 diaper. Their excuse is she has a right to refuse, but at what point is it neglect? If someone with dementia doesn't even realize they are sitting with a dirty diaper, and they are having skin breakdowns, then to me that is neglect and laziness on the staffs part, its all in how you approach her. Staff should be trained to deal with these things. This seems to be a problem from the top down. Anyone in charge that can look a family member in the eye and give any excuse as to why a person did not have their teeth in at 1030, after eating breakfast does not care about the dignity of your loved one, let alone the safety of them. She could have choked. There should be no excuse! Basic care should be standard, not a luxury. Family members were there 8, 10, sometimes 12 hours a day, and still this is the level of care she received, imagine the residents that have no one advocating for them.
