The building is very clean. It is cleaned constantly. I get nursing help that I need. I cant complain about the food.

This place has some good people working who are doing their best to do good work, but the vast majority of staff and the working conditions cannot be saved by their efforts. There is not enough staff, at times patients are waiting excessive long times to use the rest room, response time to call button presses can be longer than 5 minutes, etc. If you have a choice I would go else where for better care and treatment of your loved ones.

Dennis, Is a wonderful human being. He has gone above and beyond to help my family. My mother Kathaleen Corbett and father James Corbett. Because of Dennis my parents now share the same room on the second floor. Previous management had Mom (Kathaleen Corbett on the second floor and my father (James Corbett) on the first floor. They both are very happy being together in the same room. There are other things Dennis has helped facilitate such as helping with admission for my father. Once again, this organization would be wise to keep him. Maybe give him a huge raise or promotion. Sincerely Kimberly Corbett.

I wish I could give *ZERO* stars. There's this short black lady who is awfully rude to staff and to her peers. I believe her name is Talia. I was visiting my mother and the way she treated the people in passing was very condescending. I have every right to believe that when I'm gone she treats clients poorly too. I don't feel comfortable and I'm heavily considering a change of facility to be on the safe side. I couldn't believe the way she would talk to her staff and belittle them in front of everyone. It's extremely unprofessional. Other reviews says they are very understaffed and go figure if that's how she talks to people because who would want to work under that? But, besides that, you don't treat people like that in any kind of setting, let alone a professional one. I waited until someone opened the door to exit instead of asking anyone to do it because of how intimidating and intense everyone was. It is not a welcoming environment and the staff makes it seem more like a prison than a rehabilitation center. My mother has actually been regressing upon entering this facility and I'm at my wits end with this place. I highly recommend if you're considering putting your loved ones in this home, think again. You will not like the outcome.

I placed my mother at Milford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center despite seeing the low Google rating (2.8 stars), hoping that the “under new management” claims meant improvements had been made. The location was convenient for our family, so I wanted to give it a fair chance. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely concerning from the moment I arrived. When I visited on my first weekday (around 10am), the facility was nothing like the bright, welcoming photos online. It was dark, dated, and unclean. The hallways were filled with unattended residents in wheelchairs, and there was no staff visible at the nurses’ station. I had to track down a maintenance worker just to find my mother’s room. The most alarming issue was my mother’s condition. She had recently undergone surgery for a broken hip, yet I found her still on a bedpan from the night before. For anyone this would be uncomfortable—but for someone post-surgery, it was unacceptable. Staff were extremely difficult to reach; call buttons went unanswered for long periods. An employee who came in for an evaluation quietly told me, “This place is awful… they’re understaffed and cheap.” That matched what my mother reported—she said staff frequently complained about being short-staffed and unhappy. Her medical care was also deeply concerning. Her leg wounds (she had cellulitis with open sores) had not been properly attended to, and she went an entire day without receiving prescribed pain medication. She was in significant pain, to the point where her roommate complained about her distress. In the five days she was there, my mother was not bathed once. Her hair became matted, and I had to clean her myself with wipes out of concern for infection. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. Her bedsheets were visibly soiled with feces and were not changed promptly. A pile of dirty linens sat in her room for over a day before being removed. When I arranged to transfer her to another facility, things became even more disorganized. Her clothing was lost, calls to the facility went unanswered, and I was handed a handful of her medications by a nurse who admitted she wasn’t even sure if I should have them. Even the medical transport staff quietly expressed relief that we were moving her out. During her stay, she received almost no meaningful rehabilitation. She reported only being taken out in a wheelchair briefly, with no real therapy provided. Her overall condition declined—she was barely eating or drinking and looked visibly unwell. After transferring her to a different facility, her condition improved dramatically with proper care. The contrast was stark. I would not recommend this facility under any circumstances. This experience occurred while the center was “under new management,” which makes it even more concerning.
