I've been with Midwest for the past three years and having been in this line of work for well over 15 years, this is by far, the best company I've worked with. The office staff are always helpful, pleasant and takes care of any issues immediately. The owner, Gary, is very down to earth and easy to talk to about anything. They make you feel like you are a part of a family. I have never experienced a lack of clients or work hours. They're never pushy about taking a new client or even staying working with one that's not working out for you. I will remain with them until I retire unless they close and I don't see that happening.

I have tried and tried with these people and can't get a decent care giver when I do get a good one they end up not showing up. I am a former stna so I get this job so I try to have my husband help when he can. Im epileptic and 2 of their aides watched me have a seizure and did nothing lucky my husband was there the question is what if he wasn't there. I continued to give them chances even after that and thought i found a nice aide then that aide proceeded to not show up for work on Monday 1/19/26. Im officially done with lazy aides, mean hateful aides who complain about doing minimum stuff then the good aides who disappear without anyone telling me what happened. Also aides complain about smoking when your assignment is a smoking household then you ask is it ok if we smoke and they don't mind and then make an excuse to leave early and say they gotta pick up their kids then tell the office the smoking bothered them. We are so polite always try to have to get to know the first day tell about ourselves explain the small amount of assistance I need. Midwest should do the right thing and report these aides you could at least ask the husband what can I do to help instead of sitting there not giving a crap
