You know a place is bad when you walk your dog on the grounds like you've done a hundred times before and a lowly maintenance man tells you it's private property, demands your credentials as if he's some authority figure, and videos you walking away until you're gone.<br><br>Be kinder, let go of assumptions, and realize that this is a quiet and decent community. No one wants to break in with their dog and steal a convalescent. Be better.

In a recent visit, I was shocked to see a medicine cart unattended in the hallway. It was very concerning to me! And, at a different time, I stood and watched the nurse dispurse medicine as residents entered the dining hall, giving them their cupful of medicine, a water and walking away! No guarantee the medicine is even being taken!<br>Some individuals on the staff are wonderful, and others are obviously there to only receive a paycheck and it shows! There is plenty of room for improvement at Mercy Crest.

I have had a family friend who has lives at Mercy Crest for a number of years. We are very disappointed in some of the staff and administration choices. I would not put my mother in Mercy Crest.
